I liked the condo! (From Eleanor)
This was a particularly special trip for me as I was able to meet up with two friends from HS that i haven't seen in 22 years. Connor took a snow board lesson at A-Basin, and made some great turns. Eleanor stayed here and took care of Grandma. We had a great vacation, and we can't wait to come back! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Enjoyed our stay at your condo. Very cute and well equipped. Frisco is a nice town and not as busy as Breckenridge, which we liked. Skied 1 day at Breckenridge (snowing and blowing), but then had 2 great days at Keystone. We happened to find a deal online - 3 days for $99 and although we only skied 2, a much better bargain than Breckenridge. Glad your condo was open for the dates we needed!

We really had a great time. Your condo was womderful, and we appreciate your sharing it with us. The snow was awesome and Breckenridge was in good shape. The view from the master bedroom was amazing. We made chili and homemade spaghetti sauce. We didn't even eat out, except for lunch. We skied Sunday and Monday, then Asher and Brian took snowboard lessons on Tuesday. On Wednesday we planned to ski, but instead we shopped in the snow. For our last night we listened to the wind and played Cranium. Thanks so much.

Thank you for letting us stay in your cozy condo. It is very comfortable and warm. Thanks for supplying the firewood; we had a roaring fire each night. Showers were awesome afer a day of skiing - particularly liked the shower with the stone floor - a bonus foot massage. The pine furniture is beautiful. The skiing was fantastic - we had tons of powder. What a beautiful area! Thanks again!
P.S. We used the grill (same one we have!) and couldn't find grill utensils - only thing we couldn't find. We made do though!

| I stayed in the "QUILT" condo nine days ending April 14,2008 and was pleased in every way. It is warm, cozy feeling, comfortable and fully equiped---even including fireplace wood for our nightly fires. We made a number of our meals in the condo and walked just a couple blocks to good restaurants in downtown Frisco. It was a short drive to skiing at Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe basin and Copper Mountain. I highly recommend this condo. |

We are so in love with the 'Mountain Retreat'. We hope to make it back once more in October for our Anniversary - 38 years.
My memory of this trip will be from our day in Vail. We rode the gondola up to the very top of the hill, and a storm came in. So we were STUCK up on top. They said if the storm didn't move out, the workers drive their own cars up and drive us all down. The thunder and lightning are VERY loud up there, and the rain drops are huge and cold!!
Randy and I helped make a vase at the glass blowing place -that was awesome! We purchased the vase!

It did not take us long to figure out all outdoor activities needed to be done in the morning. We girls certainly didn't mind because shopping can be done in any kind of weather (well, almost). We certainly had an active vacation! We biked around Frisco and ALL the way to Breckenridge (pant pant). Went boating and saw lots of sights! The scenry is stunning. Kelsy's top 3 favorite things: 1) boating on Lake Dillon, 2) glass blowing demonstration, and 3) gondola ride and bungie trampoline at Vail. I would love to return and take my bike down the 'hill' at Vail!
Your home is beautiful. The quilts inspired me to dust off my 3 machines at home! It really is a lovely place! Thank you for leting us stay here with the Bornhorsts!

It started out great, until Shawn's altitude sickness kicked in on Weds pm! We were still able to see and do things until Friday. THEN, he got the stomach flu. We just hung around the condo on Fri and relaxed. His friend is also a taxidermist in Parshal, so we visited with him and his wife. On Thursday, we took a drive and found an elk antler that had recently been shed. Neat! Took a trip to Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park, and saw 7 moose. The scenery here is amazing!
Your condo is so cozy. Felt like we were in our own home. The little touches such as the soap and lotion is a nice touch! The Creek is a relaxing sound I won't soon forget!

Being in Colorado we stay in Frisco several times a year. We really enjoyed our trip to the "Quilt" condo.
The condo was perfect, we had friends staying in the same units and they about fell over when they stopped by our place and saw the nice decorations and furniture! Everything worked out perfectly, and we appreciate you letting us use your place, it is very well organized and set up for your guests.

Came here from the western slope to remodel the Frisco Wal-Mart. We enjoyed our stay. Your place is awesome! We worked graveyards, so we didn't get to do much, but we still had a great time. Johnny G's nightclub was off the hook! Hottest girls in Frisco, and good music. We also enjoyed the Mossejaw Tavern, and playing 50 cents pool. The pool and hot tub here were tight; definitely relaxing after a hard night at work. Hope to be back here soon and enjoy Frisco some more. Our luv to everyone.

Even though we got 7" of snow on the last day of Summer and first day of Fall, I had a wonderful time. Very relaxing trip. Loved our walk around Lake Dillon. Nexts time, I would love to rent bikes.

The condo was fantastic! Had a great time and hit Vail, A-Basin and Breck, with my sons. Even had enough snow for bumps! Coverage was really good, for so early (November, 2005).
You condo is beautiful and well decorated (my wife loved all the quilts on the beds and walls). Really nice and quiet at night. Lots of room and enjoyed it very much. Terrific water pressure and lots of hot water for showers afer skiing all day! Beautiful pool and hot tub for relaxing. We'll be back. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Hi Dan and Jennie; as you know, we were here in '95 and as soon as we drove in, we were reminded of how perfect Frisco and the area is! You guys have a great location, and the condo is in super shape!! Our activities included Pikes Peak, Garden of Gods, Royal Gorge, and hiking and biking around Frisco. We rafted down the Arkansas at Buena Vista and spent time in Dillon, Breckenridge, and Silverthorne. Our eating and drinking establishments included Backcountry Brewery, Moosejaw, Pug Ryans, and Pika's Bagels. The concert in Dillon was great. Hazel Miller was the band and highly recommended if you get a chance. Thanks very much for arranging the condo and being such great friends! Cheers, P, J, E, and B!

The weather was colder (8 degrees, -22 windchill) than when we usually ski in March for Spring Break. But we enjoyed Copper anyway. This way, all 3 boys could come. We enjoyed the relaxed decor, the fireplace was great during the cold evenings. Our favorite place to eat is the Minturn Country Club (Exit 171) toward Minturn and down about 2 miles on Rt around the curve. Cook your own steaks, chicken, and fish. The best!! The Christmas Pageant at Rocky Mountain Bible Church was wonderful!

Our whole family showed up for the BBQ cook-off. Our son-in-law's team came in 1st Place overall, 'Tom and Josh's Orgasmic Slabs'! We hiked, rode bikes, and drank beer. Loved the condo and the mountains.
The food at the 'Backcountry Brewery' was horrible. The service was atrocious. They need to get waitresses that can speak English. The Moosejaw has great burgers and beer. It is where all the locals go. Come to KC for some great BBQ and beer!

Greetings! Like the great philosopher Yogi Berra said, "It's deja vu all over again!" We are back for our 6th year. I guess our comfort level is high (9000+ feet) here in Frisco. We seem to settle into our mountain routine quickly. We purchased a Toyota 4 Runner SUV and were eager to put it thorugh its paces. We chose Shrine Pass as our first adventure. We felt like 4WD aces as we bounced toward Red Cliff, and were pretty proud of ourselves....until we saw an old couple going the opposite way in a Cadillac! Maybe we'll try a harder trail next time. As usual, J's favorite part of the experience is the pool. He'll be 15 in Sept and is already balking at joining us on vacation. He thinks we're boring. We $pent a day in Breckenridge. It was fun to $hop there. Of course, we made Leadville a destination. The Boom Days Festival was fun, and J loves to visit the quilt store. Keep in touch!!

I spoke to D.M. at the pool, who always speaks well of 'Dan and Jennie' and the work Jennie does on behalf of the other owners. J. has been a bit under the weather with a sinus infection, but a trip to the Frisco Medical Center has helped. He looks forward to sampling the Jerky Man's offerings outside Antlers. Had cloudy, cold weather the first week - we got 2-3 inches of snow....and from then on, it was flurries. But the snow was surprisingly good with all the grooming. Greetings! Once again we thank you for sharing your retreat. This is our fourth visit. Each year we talk about an alternative vacation destination, but Frisco starts calling our name around May. This vacation was more of a 'veg out' trip. We decided not to cram in a lot of stuff, but enjoy activities closer to Frisco. We did make it back to Leadville. J. is still working with a quilt shop in assembling the panels (or blocks) of her grandmother's unfinished quilt. We were delighted to receive your note last year. We believe we departed shortly before your arrival. We look forward to meeting you one day. Your neighbors and fellow Board members speak well of 'Dan and Jennie'. I'm out of room! Hello again! It took us three years, but we made it back to Frisco. It hasn't lost its appeal to us, even though the Developers seem to be building on every square inch. I guess they know a good thing when they see it. We did much more hiking on the trails this trip. It was fun but we are out of shape! We also discovered Leadville. J. collects rocks and Leadville has a great rock shop. There is also a great quilt shop which J. enjoyed. She has left quilt panels with them to assemble. The pool and hot tub were great after a day of hiking. We hope to return next year for our fourth stay at your retreat.

Our daughter will be 3 on Oct 2 so we celebrated her birthday with her favorite Aunt and Uncle from Grand Junction. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Had a total blast! Went white water rafting on the Arkansas River, hiking at Vail, spent breakfast time at the Log Cabin, shopped, rode horses, and threw lots of rocks in the creek and swam every day! We cannot begin to express (or can only begin to express) what a wondeful week my mom (who celeberated her 75th birthday Aug 1) and I had.
The occasion of our visit was very special. Our grand-daughter/niece M. (who worked as a manager here previously) and C.H. were married at Sapphire Point, and we had an incredible two-day reception in Breckenridge at a Lodge. C. and M. are presenty working on purchasing GeJo's, an upstairs restaurant on Main Street, Frisco.
As Mom said, this was perhaps one of the most beautiful and memorable weeks of our lives. We have other young relatives who have moved here and were fortunate enough to have most family relatives attend for the week - from Washington, New York, Vermont. Although we love our areas, we were awed by the surrounding mountainous beauty.
Our special thanks to you, Dan and Jennie, for all you've done to make your place so comfortable and inviting. (My sister, the mother of the bride, saw it and arranged for Mom..."the Matriarch" :-) ...and me to stay here....with the request that none of the other guests staying here for the wedding saw it!) We were so at home and impressed with your personal talents. We had fun figuring out who was who from your family photos - great looking family!!
Since we have so many of our own family living here now, we've already decided to return next year. We're definitely requesting your place. Thank you so much!

We had a great time here at Frisco. Love the condo, the furniture (great job, Dan!) and the quilts (we looked at each one, Jennie; S. loves the geese over the fireplace). We had 4 condos here for a family reunion. The cousins loved the pool and the creek. The big kids loved the atmosphere here, and the river rafting. While here, S. accepted a job in Seattle, so I guess when we get back we are selling our house and moving. Needless to say, it has been a very exciting week here. My mother-in-law was celebrating her 80th birthday this year, thus the reason for the family reunion. All of the family raved about how we, by far, had the nicest place to stay. We thought so too. Texas averages 70's during winter. During our stay here at Frisco, we had the opportunity to ski down the 'beginner' slopes at Keystone, and also our fist time to experience snowboarding.
