We so thoroughly loved the cabin and the weather was great. I did some artwork while I was there and we went fishing with our family from Homer and also some boating to Jakolof Bay and Sadie Cove and points beyond. Just beautiful. You have quite a spot there and maybe we can come back again. The wildlife and birds are fabulous....thanks for sharing your little Shangrila!

We very much enjoyed our stayat the MacDonald Spit cabin, although very rustic, it was warm and comfortable. Lots of games and books for the kids to enjoy as well as adults. There's a large deck to sit and watch the birds or just relax. During our stay we enjoyed fishing along the beach in back of the cbin, berry picking, and one day we went to Seldovia and went kayaking. It was a great weekend, and know we'll be going back.
