Great location, close to centrum and easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and cafes ;)
Owner was available to help with taxis, directions, etc., but respected our privacy. Apartment was small, but very cozy, comfortable and neat. Would definitely stay again! |

Thank you to Marcelle and Ivan (pronounced “even”), Your studio/apartment is one that I will be sure to stay at again; it is a true jewel! The views out the three wide windows are delightful. Pull up a chair close to the window like I did and watch the boats glide by as you sip on a nice hot cup of coffee. This studio not only has a nice couch, stuffed chair, and coffee table; it also has a desk with chair, and dining room table with 4 more chairs and more! There is a full kitchen with all utensils. It has everything you need, even another bed if needed. The studio is just one block from Leidselpein Square, the best day and nightlife area in Amsterdam. There are high-energy clubs with long lines and reservations to get in, to down to earth Rock and Roll venues such as the Waterhole Bar that has live music every night of the week. This area has the highest collection of coffee houses, café’s, restaurants (from McDonalds to Grand style, to small places like the Sherpa (Tibetan/Nepalese). From Leidseplein Square you have access to trams and buses going in all directions and places. One block away is the Prinsengracht Canal which rings around the city and has the Stop/Go public mini-bus service along itto all areas of Amsterdam; just flag it down and pay one Euro. Noise from the Canal Boats was not a factor as mentioned in another posting. Staying here make you feel like you live here. Again, Thank You Marcelle and Ivan

| We had a wonderful stay in this charming studio this past June. This simple, lovely apartment is located in one of the most scenic areas of Amsterdam, and the views over the canal are breathtaking. Cannot speak highly enough of the location, or of the owner of the property, who was a pleasure to work with. The ONLY downside was a bit of noise from the party boats on the canal at night, but it didn't bother us much. We'll be back, without question! |
