We loved staying in this cute and cozy cabin for our honeymoon. The cabin is well stocked but clean and uncluttered. We enjoyed being so close to the Park to see the many sites, hike and enjoy the boiling river. We even got to see Mountain Goats in the park on a backcountry hike! Awesome! We loved the view every morning!

Although the cabin was only available for 1 night,, it was so worth the trip up. It was perfect. We sat by the fire, roasted marshmellows and star gazed into the big open sky. In the morning we were greeted by an incredible sunrise. As they say, "Great things come in small packages."

We have had a wonderful vacation!
It's so peaceful here, we are so glad we chose to stay here vs. a hotel in town. It was nice to come "home" and relax by the fire after busy days at the park.
On our first morning 4 mule deer came up the driveway and grazed in the yard! The view from the loft is amazing! We had clear nights - it felt like we could have reached out to touch the stars.
We were lucky enough to see elk, deer, bison, mountain sheep, grizzly & black bear as well as several bald eagles. The first day at Yellowstone we were gone 12 1/2 hours, so we really appreciated the comfy beds & Quiet!
This little cabin had everything we needed - Thank You for letting us experience what you get to enjoy daily. We will share our 500+ pictures with everyone back home & highly recommend your cabin.

We are leaving today but believe me, we don't want to go! This is such a beautiful partr of the country & a great place to stay. We loved your cabin & felt it was perfect for our 25th anniversary vacation.
It goes without saying that Yellowstone is amazing. The last full day we spent at Tom Miner Campground. We picniced hiked (the petrified forest) and relaxed by the creek. It was very nice.

Thanks for a great 4 day stay at your cabin. It made our trip to Yellowstone that much better. The coziness and comfort of the cabin were perfect to come back to after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Yellowston is breathtaking and awe-inspiring! Eventhough we got snowed on 3 times in 4 days! The Chico Hot Springs felt great after a 7 mile hike, and the Ranch Grill in Gardiner was a great meal to end our stay here on. This is an incredible part of the country, and your cabin only enhanced that experience for us!

We have enjoyed a wonderful 7 days here in this beautiful location. The view from the bedroom and outside on the deck is absolutely stunning. The tranquility and peace here is priceless. It has been a privilege to watch and listen to the deer - one even came and grazed by the fire pit while we sat on the deck. We watched two beaver in the Yellowstone River by the bridge. Fished the Yellowstone most days in various locations and eventually caught quite a few fish - including brown and rainbow trout. Doug and Ben in the Park Fly Shop in Gardiner are experts on fly fishing in the area. We visited Yellowstone Park geo-thermal area and Old Faithful - absolutely brilliant.
The Yellowstone Country Cabin is very quaint and unique - we call it the Gingerbread House, very cosy and set in a perfect place. It will be difficult to equal this place. It was a pleasure to meet Susan and Karl not forgetting Ben, their friendly labrador. Thanks, Susan, for the information on fishing in the area. We can highly recommend the Yellowstone Country Cabin. Thank you both.

What a great cabin this is. Really enjoyed the firepit, breezes always seems to blow from the west at sunset, thus sending the smoke away. We were visited a couple of times by the chipmunk that lives in the big tree to the east and a hummingbird paid a visit to a bright pair of knickers hanging on the balcony rail. It went away empty handed! A hummingbird feeder would be a great addition.
The drive and hike to the petrified forest is well worth the effort, much more interesting than the petrified lone tree in Yellowstone.
Keep an eye out for the satellite which passes overhead at around 2200 hrs, going SW/NE.

I'm sitting here on the deck of the cabin, looking at the mountains, and listening to the birds as I sip my coffee & smell the wonderful scents of the sage all around me as I write this little note to you.
The night we arrived we met Karl, one of the things he told us was that his songs are really about inspiration. Well...we can certainly see, smell and feel the inspirations that comes from being in this magical place you call home!
In fact, Michael, Erika and I all wish we didn't have to leave. We love Montana! The weather has been perfect, and the cabin has been great. It is very well equipped with everything you might need.

The elk seen from the window, the comfortable bed and the fantastic scenery have made this a memorable experience. John really enjoyed all the wildlife on our day trips - 4 grizzly bears, a bighorn sheep, 4 wolves, bison in yellowstone and 2 black bears and 6 mountain goats off sunlight rd. in the Gallatin National Forest.

WE GOT ENGAGED!!
Phil took me down to Yellowstone for the day...which is not out of the ordinary since we live so close. When we got to Old Faithful (where we worked in 2003) he told me to go walk around...he had to "talk to some people." So I took the walkie talkie and wandered. Finally, I was summoned back to the Inn and told to go to the Bellhop desk. A guy named Carl, told me we were goin to "take a little walk." I was escorted to the Crow's Nest where Phil was hiding in the corner. He popped out, got down on one knee, and then popped the question! I, of course, said yes! When we got to the bottom of the stairs we were applauded by the Front Desk Staff! Then Phil whisked me away to spend a night in this lovely cabin. Asian architect, he really loved the paces in here - it's not big, but it doesn't feel too small either. What really made the night perfect for us was a bottle of champagne and the Andy Griffith show tapes! It was an amazing day...watching the deer grazing outside was fantastic! Now we're off to explore the Petrified Forest and to soak our bones at Chico Hot Springs...then it's back home for us, where we move into our first house the Friday!

We have loved our several days in your cabin. It has been a great home base from shich to explore this beautiful part of our country. Each day we have been so happy to return "home," away from the crowds and the hot sun, and to sit on the porch, ponder the view, pitch horseshoes, and eat dinner at the picnic table.
Thanks for letting us squeeze an extra person onto the floor. The kids loved the videos. Being from the other side of the country, we have felt at times like we are living on a boat here. With the wind rushing through the cabin in the pre-dawn hours, it has felt that maybe it is too rought out and we'd best stay at anchor. But then we remember where we are, and prod ourselves out of bed to go look for wildlife.

You pack a lot of nice touches into this rustic little cabin! We loved the view! Plus, thanks for letting us pack a fouth person in. They loved the horseshoes and videos.

Thanks so much for letting us stay here. The cabin was very comfortable with spectacular views! On our trip through Yellowstone we saw 5 grizzly bears, 3 black bears and a black wolf.

A perfect getaway - just what we had hoped for in "a secluded country cabin." Cozy, peaceful, comfortable, and functional!
A great place to come back to after exploring and hiking the Park. Nice hot shower and very comfy beds! The view from the loft is amazing! We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck each morning and a few fires in the evening.

I've never seen anything like this in my life: the magnificent view of the mountains and the valley, the peace and quiet, the birds, the crickets, the deer wandering through the yard this morning, and the return of the one-eyed cat.
We both really appreciated the luxuriously soft bedding, the well equipped kitchen, the hot shower and the loan of the CD player.
Thanks for making our trip a pleasue and we plan to return again.

We had a great time at the cabin. Your suggestion about the petrified forest was perfect. We found that chico hot springs was one big pool, which we found questionable, so opted out, but everything else was amazing.

Had a fantastic time here in Yellowstone country. The cabin was more than we had expected or hoped for. The view is breathtaking. Enjoyed sitting out at night hearing the cyote howl and watching the sun set over the mountains and the sky turn into countless stars. Enjoyed toasting marchmellows over the fire pit. It was a great way to end our day. Enjoyed the quiet & peacefulness of the cabin setting. It was away from it all, tucked in the woods, yet we had all the comforts of home - who could ask for anything more!!
This time here hold so many beautiful memories for us. We will treasure them always. I am so thankful we found your cabin and feel lucky we experienced this amazing country by staying here and touring Yellowstone Country. We hope to come back and stay here again. This was perfect! Hate to leave and go bact to "city" life.

Do you remember the excitement you had as a kid on your birthday or on Christmas? Well, we were excited to see if the pictures of the cabin surrounded by nature could keep the promise--but it was even better! To enjoy the fantastic view in the morning when you wake up, to smell this wonderful fresh air delicately scented from the bushes and trees aroune, to experience the quietness, to see the forested mountains by day and an unbelievable beautufl sky full of stars by night! We were delighted to show this to our 8 year old son Thilo who had not been able to experience this yet.
Coming back from our day trips it was like being at home. Everything what we needed was available in the cabin. We feel lucky that we had chosen this lovely cabin instead of one of those inside Yellowstone Park. We'd love to come back here again.

We loved "our" little cabin during our stay here in beautiful Montana. It was so much fun to come back to every evening and the view is incredible. You did think of everything that travelers could need. We made use of the cooler several days. I am impressed by your ability to make use of every space in this cabin.
The firepit was a wonderful bonus. One night we made hobo dinners comprised of green peppers, onions, hamberger, and potatoes all wrapped in aluminum foil and cooked in the hot coals. Wonderful flavor.

Thank you for the use of your wonderful cabin. This cozy cabin nesteled in the roling hills at the foot of the Rocky Mountains is a place I thought, I thought I would only ever visit in my dreams.
To be able to stay in this "off the beaten path" location in the aptly named 'Paradise Valley' is a dream come true for me and my family.
You have graciously provided all the comforts of home with some extra pleasures too. We especially appreciate the coffee grinder, this is something I really miss when away from home.
Thanks for thinking of everything a woman would want to truely feel at home.
The view is indescribable as is the Yellowstone experience so close at hand.
