| All in all we LOVED our visit. The kitchen was well stocked. The basket of goodies was a wonderful surprise-loved the wine. The linens were heavenly and the beds were so warm and cozy. We were amazed at the gardens and loved the fresh cut flowers on the table. We really appreciated the shampoo and soaps that were provided, too. The view was spectacular-better than we could have imagined. You must be very proud of this slice of heaven. Please keep sharing it! |

| We had a lovely family retreat. We loved the rustic simplicity plus the luxury of a hot tub and big screen tv. The view is extrordinary, the coast itself is amazing. The opportunites to hike and surf are endless. My son called it "Utopian", an apt observation. |

| The Big Sur Cabin reminds me of the Eagle's song, "Hotel California" and the line, "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!". My heart and mind go back to the incredible view of the Pacific Ocean and a life-changing vacation of vacations. Can't wait to get back! |

| We had a wonderful and relaxing few days at the Big Sur Cabin. The scenery and views cannot be beaten. The cabin is well equiped and sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set over the sea is worth the journey alone. |

| -What an amazing and magical space! This cabin is such a gem. We have been astonished over and over again with these amazing views. Everything has been incredibly comfortable and perfect. We had no idea that each room would have a new and unique view of this beautiful coast! We saw a pod of whales yesterday as we read on the lower deck in the sun. Cottontail bunnys, squirrels, hawks and all of the delightful singing birds...To say we will be back is obvious..To say we love this place is an understatement! Thank you so very much for your gracious hospitality and all the special surprises that made us come to the realization, we never want to stay at a hotel again!! |

| I spent a lovely weekend in July '08 at this wonderful remote cabin with a panoramic ocean view. This was one of the best, most relaxing vacations I ever had. There was no sterile chain hotel feel, just a very cozy, homey, charming cabin in the midst of nature. Such opportunities are rare nowadays. |

| My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary at the cabin. It was a very quiet and romantic time. The beds were comfortable,the hot tub a relaxing touch. My wife insists on a return visit next year and she is not the "roughing it" type! The reading material in the cabin was informative and fun to read especially about the local area and it's history. A trip to Cambria is a must. |

| The views from both decks are priceless! The setting and location of the property are ideal for getting to picturesque rocky beaches and hikes in the Santa Lucia Mountains. The amenities provided make this so much more than a "cabin". You will definitely relax at this welcoming retreat! |

| We give everything a 10! The cabin exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the binoculars, wildlife books and board games and slept very comfortably-especially after uncomfortable beds at the previous lodge. We all felt that the Big Sur Cabin stay was one of the best parts of our trip.We would certainly be interested in staying again although it is unlikely we will be back in California in the near future. |

My husband, Dan celebrated his retirement with a solo sojourn return visit to this fabulous retreat. He returned refreshed, revived and ready to take on his new consulting venture. If you want to have the ultimate Big Sur experience, this is the place! Thanks Lois for accomodating Dan on such short notice. The new outdoor grill area looks fabulous. Dan & I will return. | This cabin is even better than shown in the pictures -- perched high above the Pacific with absolutely surreal views in all westerly directions. Not another house in sight. However, if you don't know this area, be mindful that this is in a remote section of Big Sur, about 1.5 hours south of Monterey, and up a windy dirt road (leave your low riding sports cars at home). If quintessential Big Sur is what you want -- views, nature, quiet -- look no further. |

| My fiance and I recently stayed in this magical place for four nights. We felt immediately at home and agree it's our favorite place we've ever stayed together. The cabin is a wonderful balance of ammenities and charm. We saw whales by the dozens every day and were dazzled by the weighty blanket of stars at night. As lovely as the photos are, the reality is all the more special and beautiful. |

An Idyllic retreat overlooking the Pacific with magnificent views and sunsets. Our visit to Plaskett Ridge was our 3rd stay in Big Sur and we finally felt we truly experienced Big Sur as a native. This charming cabin has all the comfort features but we were happy just laying back enjoying the decks, hot tub. We were happy to return to the cabin after our day trips to enjoy the serenity. On arrival, the caretaker welcomed us with chilled wine and homemade cookies and showed us how to work the generator, etc and gave us some history on how her Dad after retiring built this wonderful retreat. We highly recommend the cabin at Plaskett Ridge. We hope to return with our children and their spouses so they can truly experience Big Sur. We highly recommend the Big Sur Coast Cabin.
