| Our family of 4 stayed at this property in 2005 and absolutely loved it! It was our first time in San Destin, and for us (two adult one pre-teen and one toddler) Bayou Village was ideal. Very easy bike, walk (or tram) ide to everything, walk to the pier and to the Ferry to Boardwalk Village. Being away from the beach is great as it's only a very short bike ride (there is an underpass for bikes/walkers so you don't have to worry about traffic)away and being on the little lake/bay is more secluded & beautiful. Very private and great set-up for the kids. Our toddler slept in the sunroom off our bedroom and loved seing the ducks, herons in the lake. The unit is very nicely done, immaculate with a fully outfitted kitchen (I cook on vacation), lots of pool toys, books, etc to use. Great set-up for any age children; older kids can ride bikes on the court, trails and to the kids activities. We will definitely be back to Sandestin, and to this unit! |
