Our stay in Tucson and at this property was a first, but, will not be our last! The property was ideally located and quiet with the highlight being the pool & spa area and spectacular views this gave us of the city & mountains. Local wildlife was abundant, this adding to the fun of the vacation. The variety of good restaurants (many as recommended by the owners) within a short driving distance was great. We were also spoilt for choice for golfing having played at half a dozen good venues again within easy reach. Our only regret . . . we couldn't stay longer. |

| Four couples really enjoyed your desert retreat in early April, 2008. The house is ideally situated with great views of the mountains and the city. We appreciated the spaciousness of this 5 BR 3 B home and the great deck, pool and spa were equally inviting. We would recommend this home to desert vacationers. |

We have two children attending the University of Arizona and found this home for our stay in Tucson. The house worked fabulously for our family. It has five wonderful bedrooms and two entertainment areas. Although it was over 100 degrees outside during the day, the house stayed very cool. Of course, our kids very much enjoyed the pool and spa.
Thank you, Rich and Andy, for sharing your home with our family! |

| Thanks Rich and Andy for the use of your wonderful home. It was the perfect home base for our daughter's graduation from U of A. Peaceful, relaxing, with all the comforts of home. Time slipped away as we enjoyed eating, talking and the view from the patio until after midnight each night. Very convenient to grocery shopping and freeway access. We hope to be back for a visit again soon! |

My husband and I came with four other friends for Rockies Spring Training. This was the perfect place to hang out between baseball games and golf outings. We began each morning having breakfast on the patio and taking a wake-up dip in the heated pool and hot tub. We ended each day with a night-cap, swim and hot tub under the stars. Everyone slept like babies. Felt like we were at a spa! We will definitely come back and recommend this home to anyone who is looking for such a place to stay in Tucson! |

| A group of us older gueeezzers (4) stayed at this home March 3 - March 10, 2007. It's terrific. Nearly everything you need or want is there. For me, the best part were the evenings sitting on the patio and looking at the spectacular view of Tucson. What a view!! The owners were great to work with from the beginning to the end. I would certainly recommend the home and the owners working relationship to anyone thinking of staying here. Don't hesitate - you'll really enjoy your stay. Gary, Ellensburg, Washington. |

| We loved this wonderful house. The kitchen was perfectly equipped. Our two children, 3 and 5 years old, loved the pool (as did the rest of us). We were a fairly large group of four adults and two little kids, but there was plenty of room for all of us. And we really enjoyed having two indoor sitting areas for evening gatherings, as we were in Tucson during a cold snap (in January) and so we weren't sitting outside once the sun went down. This place is perfect! We highly recommend it. |

A truely excellent house, very well kept and furnished. We have spent a number of holidays in Southwest USA but this was the best house we have stayed at. The pool was lovely.
The fact that we had more rain in the 2 weeks we were there than we would have had in England was not a problem, even if it was a surprise. Sitting on the patio wattching the sun or the rain go down was just fantastic. |

I never wanted to go to bed at night. I didn't want to leave the patio where the night sky full of stars and the lights from the city casting shadows on the mountains was just so soothing to my soul.
The house was wonderful, beautifully decorated, accomondated a house full of people without feeling you were on top of each other. The pool and hot tub were delightful along with the waterfall and our family got to spend time together. My only negative comment is that there were no cupboards for food storage. Try it, you will love it. Thank you to our hosts for thinking of everything!

Homeowner Response:
I'm glad you had a nice time in Tucson....and yeah - we know we have too much glassware taking up all the space in the cabinets!!! We'll try to open up some space for food storage. Thanks for the suggestion.

| We spent two weeks in Tucson this Spring to celebrate our son's graduation and play some golf. We had friends and extended family come and go throughout and this was a wonderful place to call home. Plenty of room and spectacular views. The kitchen and pool areas are perfect for entertaining. Everything you need is right there waiting for you. We couldn't have been happier. |

| Our first spring break in Arizona and the house and surroundings were beautiful! Everything we needed was in the house and all top-notch. The pool, hot tub and mountains in the background were the icing on the cake. We'll be back! |

| Rented this house for our yearly get away. Everyone was very pleased. Views are great from the patio. Everything you could ask for was there. There was 9 of us and we were able to spread out. Thanks for a great vacation! |

| I just received the pictures that I took while in Tucson during the last week in 2005 and the first week of 2006. This family gathering was one of the best we have ever had. The weather was great, the house so well equipped, and the views from this house were spectacular. It was difficult to leave this environment to see other parts of Tucson. Thanks to the owners!! |

Excellent site for a family reunion or anything of scale - three different areas for everybody to gather and plenty of bedrooms, too, with one (including nearby bath) on the first floor that is easily accessible to people who don't want to or can't climb stairs (which are a trifle steep). Linens are excellent quality, clean and plentiful. Pillows are large but not soft. Bathroom fixtures all work as they should.
Views are exquisite; every sunset is unique and panaromic. Kitchen is best equipped I have ever seen, with quality, functioning appliances - juicer, blender, toaster, coffee grinder & maker, microwave, gas stove & oven w/broiler, great 'fridge w/icemaker (a necessity in Tucson) and dishwasher. Plenty of utensils for cooking: pots 'n pans, bowls, measuring cups & spoons and cookie sheets (!). Everything is clean and good/excellent quality. Dishes and flatware are plentiful and matched: you won't be embarassed serving what you cook. Good supply of kitchen/dining linens.
Patio and pool are pleasant, with a low-level private area for...whatever. A bit dusty in places (12/05) due to recent work, so stay on the finished surfaces.
Plenty of wildlife - quail and roadrunners were around in December - and the Saguaro National Monument is accessible via trailheads ~5 road miles away. Serious hikers can trash themselves to their heart's content w/30 mile loops over peaks and to Gates Pass (bring water even for a 1/2 hour walk - you WILL need it).
A 'can't miss' place.

| This house is great! An absoulutely astounding view of the city from the back patio. Every amenity is taken care of here. Small items like spices in the kitchen to tools in the garage made our stay absolutely perfect! |

My family traveled from Colorado, Oregon, California and New York to gather for Thanksgiving in Tucson. All give Desert Winds an enthusiastic "Thumbs Up"! I can re-iterate the positive comments made about the wonderful Southwestern decor, the fabulous patio/pool/spa area, the private, beautifully landscaped grounds. The quality of the multiple amenities is top of the line...just wish I had such upscale furnishings, linens, kitchenware and oh, that 60 inch TV!! Our grandson was thrilled to see a javelina family and several roadrunners on the property...who could ask for more?
There is so much to see and do...we needed more than a week...guess we'll have to book a return visit.

| FABULOUS property! Unlike any other rental I've ever seen. Hosts have thought of everything and chosen the best! Truly someone's luxurious home that they're inviting you to use! Magnificent views, lovely outdoor spaces, spacious and well-appointed interiors -- we'll definitely be back. (FYI: 6 separate beds in 5 separate bedrooms PLUS a queen futon in living room and another in family room -- this place can sleep 14 with dining space for even more, so perfect for family gatherings). |
