Aloha Guests!
Dan and I were here for three weeks and it's time to go home! This has been a wonderful time, OK, they all are! Our projects were pretty easy, we moved the 32" LCD TV into the bedroom and put a 37" LCD TV in the Living Room, nice improvement! We changed out the ceiling fan on the Lanai with an "outdoor" model! It certainly moves some air around now! We walked out to see "Red" Lava, ok we tried to. We made it 3 miles and it's now about 6 miles out! We did the ATV ride "Ride the Rim". It was great and the scenery was beautiful. If you're into things like that, it's a must. Local folks, Les & Renee are your tour guides, very sweet couple. This has been our most relaxing trip over here so far. It's great having so much "fun" time and not working so hard on the condo. We hope you enjoy your stay at our little piece of "paradise".

We loved your place and took care of it for you. There are too many thing to do on the island in 10 days. When we went to the volcanoes, we had the honor to stay at Uncle Billy's-not really...but the croakers are deafening loud, birds at sunset were worth it! It was also an interesting experience launching the kayak at Cap't Cook & stupid haoeles, the locals were undoubtedly smirking as we set out to sea on an error in judgement day. Some new extra's at Casa #326. We added the new 32" Vizio LCD TV and entertainment cabinet. It gave us a couple more square feet of room! We upgraded the lighting in the Bathroom and removed the soffet over the sinks. We added recessed lighting and replaced the old light bar. The Big Highlight this trip was the newly refurbished Saltwater/Ocean Pool! What a grand pool it is!

We were in our car and up the hillside by the time the second shake came. Our only damage was the mirror over the couch fell off the wall. Everyone here is safe and we've joined together to watch out for each other.
What an interesting way to end our stay! We love this place!

Thank you very much for the last-minute stay at your lovely and beautiful condo. While, there are so many things to do on the Big Island, one thing that completely amazed us is the Green Sand Beach at South Point. If anyone reading this tries to find it, be sure to bring lots of water and shoes or sandals you can hike in. You can 4WD most of the way or hike about 2 1/2 miles (5 miles roundtrip). We did the hike and had a blast, but be prepared it is not an easy hike! Mahalo from NYC!

We went on SeaQuest, Biked down Kohala Mountain, went horseback riding, jet skiing, tanned on the beach and kayaking! It was very adventurous! The Volcano was amazing...Wow Lava! We enjoyed our stay in your comfortable condo. We came from Michigan to Kona for the wedding of Arlene's Grand daughter. An outdoor wedding at the Hilton. Very impressive. I am 82 years old, and my friend DeLoris is my traveling companion, she is 84 years old. So you can see you had some senior citizens enjoying your apartment. We also enjoyed many of the sights and activities on the island. Our favorite thing was having Breakfast together on your little porch. We treated your apartment, and took care of it, like it was our own.

It's been a great week and we loved your condo! Our 25th Anniversary has been filled with lots of unforgetable memories! Our highlight was the kayak trip over to Captain Cook and snorkeling! Excellent! The $40/2hr rental from "Russell" (a local) at the bottom of the 4 mi winding road was a kick! On our way back dolphins were surfacing everywhere! Incredible! The Ultimate Guidebook was most helpful, that we bought one for ourselves in one of the little shops down on the pier! the Lava flows at Bubba Gumps were fantastic!

How can we ever thank you two enough? Dave and I have had the most wonderful "2nd" honeymoon imaginable. I had always heard Hawaii was paradise. Now we know why! You guys have fixed up a "very special" place here, your own little "bit of heaven". The condo is adorable and very, very comfortable. Uncle JJ was right, these sunsets from the beach wall are spectacular. Dave and I had lots of fun adventures here on the Big Island. Everything from Volcano Park to snorkel cruises, submarine rides and even Flumin' da Ditch! Ha Ha - such great fun & such great memories were made. Dave and I can't believe we've been married 25 years, it sorta made us start feeling a little old. Well guess what...not anymore! We loved every minute here and vowed to make sure we "get away" more often. Okay, well, maybe I did feel a little old cousin, when those big ocean waves were tumbling me around out there! I stick to mellow snorkeling after that! Take care you two and make sure you both get down here as often as possible...It is Paradise!!

Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us...I will think of it whenever I see "chili peppers"!! We absolutely loved Hawaii and quickly realized One Week is not enough...understand now our kids coming "3" times! We enjoyed the peace & quiet of Casa de Emdeko and the views were wonderful. To future visitors, go to the Farmer's Market (Thur-Sat) to get fresh fruit and a bouquet of local flowers. Enjoyed them for a whole week for $6.00!! We love it! 2nd Best place on the island is Captain Cook Monument", 3rd Best, Lulu's rocks for night life. 4th KTA Market for fresh seafood to BBQ! 5th Kahalu'u Beach Park, many many turtles.6th Hilo's Big Island Candies, very pricy, but very tasty! 7th Waterfall in Hilo! 8th Lava Java for Breakfast & Best Coffee in Kona! 9th We will miss our flight if we don't leave now!
