A true get-a-way from city traffic, noise and people. But the water traffic made splendid entertainment viewed from the deck rocking chairs. An occassional wave to and from vacationeers/or islanders was welcomed. Historical points on the island were awakenings to the stream of settlers -from Indians to the Browns of Rhode Island to US Navy. A great place to explore nature -swimming,fishing/clamming, boating/motor and sail and kayak, wildlife and plants, a museum and old missle silos. And a visual paradise. |

| This was a lovely cottage with a spectacular view, lighthouse off one side of the deck and the bridge to Newport off the other side. Everything you ar elooking for if you want to get away from it all. Lots of places on the island to explore and take short hikes(1-2 miles). Large deck with room to eat, lounge and take in the view. We really enjoyed our time! |

| We loved our Prudence Island vacation!! The house is great, with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of deck space for eating outdoors. The view from the house is amazing. The island is quiet and peaceful and everyone we bumped into was pleasant and very friendly. If you like the beach, hiking, boating, biking and peace and quiet, this place is for you!! |

| Good place to go to get away from traffic noise, & congestion & commercialism - your cares just drift away! Sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck with coffee in the morning with views to die for! All the people were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back! |
