| Aug '06--We found the property very clean and new looking and well arranged and appointed. The view out the back glass was onto the #5 fairway and it was beautiful with the leaves just beginning to turn to fall color. The Chief golf course is as good as any in the country and I've played some very good courses from California, Colorado, S. Carolina and Florida, to name a few. The owners are very congenial to deal with and prompt with any concern we might have. We hope to stay with them again one day soon. The setting is more remote and less busy which was wonderful for us to unwind from a busy summer. |

| My husband and I vacationed at this property,our accomodations were for the lower level walk out.Along with the high ceilings,stone fire place,spacious surroundings,and a wall to wall window view of Gods country,all added to a very enjoyable stay. You won't be disappointed. |

| The condo is newer and very well appointed. Just bring food(if you want to cook)relax and enjoy.t6he location offers several options for activities.I have been in this condo during all seasons,beautiful scenery. What a treat. |

Wayne & Nikki, Thank You so much for the hospitality. You have a beautiful home and we really enjoyed it. It is set up perfectly for couples and families with golf and skiing right outside the door. It has such a beautiful view off the patio overlooking the golf course. We enjoyed watching the deer each morning.

| Nikki and Wayne's Cottage on the Chief golf course has been a joy to stay in. I'm not just saying this because Nikki is our daughter,but because it truely is a relaxing and fun place to stay. My wife and I have made numerous trips to Shanty Creek over the years, and have always had a wonderful time. The lower level cottage they are renting has a great view of the 5th fairway and green. It had been fun just watching the golfers try and hit their third shot on this tricky par five to the green. Whether you stay for a weekend or a week you be faced with more choices of activities that you possibly have time for. For us dining at Pearl's (cajun) in Elk Rapids is a must, and we love playing The Hawks Eye golf course. Wayne loves the Chief, but it has to many blind shots for me.
