| We loved our stay at Casa Amapola. The pool and hot tub were wonderful, and the outdoor patio (lanai) was huge and very comfortable with a great view. One of the highlights was watching the sunrise over the desert and the distant mountains. The villa was beautifully decorated and everything we needed was to hand. The location was excellent, very private on the edge of the desert, but still convenient for local shops and downtown Tucson. We would love to stay there again, and thoroughly recommend it to anyone. The owner was very friendly, accessible and approachable at all times. Many thanks Mark! |

Hi Mark, just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Casa Amapola. The house and setting easily met and exceeded all of our expectations.
The "outside room" was fabulous and where we spent almost all of our time. We really enjoyed the Tucson area and played some great golf courses.
We do hope to return again in the future and would love a second visit to Casa Amapola.

Casa Amapola has a most wondrous effect on all who are fortunate to come upon it; of this I have no doubt. This is my sixth Gem Show pilgrimage in seven years and our stay at your magical home was by far the best!
We lacked for nothing and found ourselves surrounded in the utmost casual luxury. There is much love, peace and joy in the stories Casa Amapola tells.

Our second visit to Casa Amapola was every bit as wonderful as we anticipated; lovely weather, very comfortable home, great restaurants and totally relaxing. We used the pool and BBQ this time and ate every meal "at home" outside looking at the beautiful view.
At sunset we sat by the front door to enjoy the last rays of the sun and saw rabbits, a roadrunner and a bobcat. One morning a falcon dropped by!
We are already planning our next visit. Thanks Mark and Paul.

This has been a most wonderful, restful and enjoyable vacation. Your home is most comfortable and provides the most needed quiet and "down time."
It is a joy to return after daily excursions, but also a comfortable spot just for relaxing...
...also enjoyed the pool and grill area and your beautiful garden. The resident wildlife interesting too...the quail, hummingbirds, lizards, doves and woodpeckers were fun to watch. The location near the trail head was convenient for early AM hikes in the Tucson Mountains. Really had a great time. We loved it! Thank you!

Your lovely home was everything we hoped for--and more!
We only wish we could stay longer.
We took several hikes from the El Camino del Cerro Traihead just up the road--so much beauty, so close to "home", especially with the cactus in bloom!
Tried Purple Mountain Goat Tours as well. Tom DiMaggio puts together a wonderful tour with a great lunch, carried by the goats. We hope to be back.

| Everything said on the web site is true and more. We have been to Tucson in the past and wanted a home rather than a hotel stay.This home delivered on all fronts - private, but close to amenities. As my husband remarked "understated luxury" We had a wonderful holiday ! Our hosts were very helpful and gave us plenty of information on good places in the city. |

The web site cannot describe this home, it was beyond our expectations!
The view, the amenities, the furnishings, all made for a fanastic four days with our two children and their spouses and our grand child.
Mark and Paul put up a security fence at the patio for our grand daughter, which made it safe.
We will return!

| This is a lovely home, very unique with wonderful views and privacy. Everything you could possibly need is provided including laundry soap etc. All furnishings, dining items, bedding have a real touch of class. Although we intended to do some sightseeing we stayed in to enjoy the house, view, pool and wildlife in total peace and tranquillity. This would be a wonderful place to enjoy visits/reunions with family/friends. We would not hesitate to stay again. |

| The house is amazing! Spent a week in April with two other couples--there was plenty of room for six! Beds are all so comfortable with beautiful linens. Kitchen is well stocked with every gadget you might need and everything is top quality. Enough dishes, serving pieces, wineglasses, etc. to have a wonderful party. We had a totally awesome week and spent most nights eating in because we didn't want to leave the house! |

| This house is everything as advertised. To be honest, we were a little concerned that the description of the house was too glowing to match the asking price. Nonetheless, we took the plunge. We travel a lot and usually have the "been there done that" attitude after visiting an area. I would come back to Tuscon just for the house. Spent too much time sightseeing and not enough time just lounging at the house. Mark was very accomodating. He met us at the door to give us the lowdown of the house and answer the inevitable tourist questions. Every house rental should go as well as this one did for us. |
