Ican't even begin to tell you, Lynda, how much we enjoyed the condo. It was amazing. Very lovely, clean, and fully stocked. WOW! We cleaned up the kitchen so well, the cleaning service would not have had to spend a second in there. It did rain most of the weekend and it was very cool. Sat was the nicest day, the sun actually cam out. We enjoyed it so much that we are actually kicking around coming back again this spring. We loved the condo & will spread the word. Thanks again, you will hear from me soon.

We had a chance to spend some real family time again with the girls and their families. Our grandson just turned 10 months yesterday, so he was so much fun, too.
Your condo is absolutely beautiful with all of the comforts of home. We had everything we needed in the cupboards and enjoyed some home cooking and grilling during our stay.
There were some humid days (mid 90's), as is typical of Missouri, but the A/C worked just fine, so we lounged through those days and played in the evenings. No one seemed to care if we weren't on the go all of the time.
So, thanks again. I believe the vote was unanimous that everyone would like to return. We'll keep you in mind for the future, and will (and already have) recommended your place to friends.

A letter that I received from a guest: Dear Allan: Just want to drop you a note and thank you for letting us rent your condo. It was very nice, our family was very pleased with the space. We had not been down to the lake for over 10 years, so it was a treat. We used to come there every year when our girls were young. We enjoying doing things, especially with our grandsons. The boys thought the loft was neat and they enjoyed the pool. We tried to leave your place just like we found it. We only had rain the day we left, so the Good Lord was with us. Thanks again.

An email I received from a guest: Allan - We had a wonderful time at your condo. Plenty of room for all of us -- and what a master bedroom ! Really nice, and loved the picture of your family. Even though we had some spotty rain, we got to do everything we planned. Got to spend time at the pool, the guys got to play golf while the girls shopped, and we even got a few hours out on a friend's boat.
There were some killer, cut-throat card games at night. And it just killed the kids that I won the first night *wink*. It's so fun now that the kids are all grown & married - not so much work on old mom -- so I got to really enjoy myself too.
Thanks so much for sharing it with us! We had no problems and I think your cleaning crew will find everything in order.

With part of the family in bldg. 4, lower level, we came to realize what a perfect location # 541 has - 4 steps, close to the trash containers, parking very close, & of course all of the comforts of home inside with special touches like DVD movies, welcoming basket, and plenty of towels. This is a letter I received from one of our guests: Just a quick note to say thanks for the condo rental last week. What a lovely place- so well equipped and we had a full house with plenty of bathrooms!!! The 4th of July was definitely a moment to remember as well. We watched the tour of boats coming back from the Tan-Tar-A fireworks- and it definitely did remind us of a long string of of fireflies for about an hour- lots of green lights streaming across the water in the dark- breathtaking. We definitely enjoyed the deck- being up that high was so advantageous- and the coffee and late night conversations out there provided us with memories that will keep forever. Thank you for sharing your lake "home" with us.

The accomodations were superb! Such a well supplied condo. Our Thanksgiving get away was extra special this year. So many good memories -- too much good food, games & card playing every evening, water park, golf, shopping, feeding ducks on the lake, bike riding -- this place has it all. Our son-in-law's family was 2 doors down so both sets of grandparents were present for the announcement of a new one in May. From your family's picture you know how special grandchildren are. We have three kids and the loft was wonderfull for them to get away and play and watch what they wanted when we were not out enjoying the lake. The whole property was very clean and quiet, and close to plenty of food and shops by land or boat. The condo itself was very clean and very roomy. I can't wait to go back down later this year!!
P.S. The lake water was warmer than the two pools, and oh so relaxing!! |
