We stayed in Kate Murphy's cottage in late September and truly felt welcome and at home. The cottage is tucked away in a quiet corner of Sonoma with your own private meadow. We took advantage of the short walk to Sonoma Square for dinner often. It's also close enough to San Francisco to spend an evening in the city. Rose and Larry Murphy were excellent hosts. We'd love to return soon. Thank you for a lovely vacation! |

We stayed at this charming vintage cottage for 2 months, summer of '08.It has all of the amenities of home and a feel of being in the country yet within walking distance of the Sonoma square with all the fine restaurants and shopping. The privacy of the rear yard aforded us daily visits of deer, and a tranquil place to entertain our quests. We hope to return again next year. |

My wife and I rented this cottage in March, 2008 and will be returning in March, 2009. It is conveniently located 2 blocks from the plaza in downtown Sonoma but quietly off the street in the backyard behind the owner's home. The owners are a delightful couple and we enjoyed getting to know them and hearing about life in Sonoma. The cottage is small but quite roomy for two people. Beside the bedroom, bath and kitchen, there is a living room, a sunroom, and a screened porch. All three are comfortable sitting areas. In addition, there is a spacious backyard with sitting chairs and a picnic table. It was common to see deer grazing in the backyard. We are frequent users of VRBO and would recommend this lovely Sonoma cottage to any prospective travelers to this area. |
