Hi Mike, Jeremy and I really enjoyed our week in the mountains. The view from the loft bedroom and the deck was just stunning! We only had one day of sunshine, and the leaves at that elevation were only just beginning to turn, but we had a great time hiking the area and visiting the Campbell Folk Art School and seeing the students working on their projects. One day we took the Skyway drive into Tennessee and to the Joyce Kilmer forest. We drove through a misty landscape of hoar-frost-encrusted trees (at 32 F temperatures) at the higher elevations. The fall colors around 4000ft were spectacular. On another day we hiked on the Bartram Trail to Jones Gap and to the top of Whiterock Mountain, a huge and vertically sheer (awesome!) granite dome. Only later did we discover that there was a Welcome/Information Center office on the way to Murphy, and the Forest Service office near there, so we got our detailed topo maps a little late...but we will be back for more! Thanks again for a lovely clean, cosy cabin and a wonderful vacation stay! Regards, Sue Aldworth.

Mike, The cabin is really beautiful ! We both really enjoyed our stay. The View is amazing. . There was a fire/burnoff on one of the mountain tops a couple of miles away that was interesting to watch. They seemed to keep it under controll even though it burned for hours and then all night long. I hope we left it as clean as we found it. The directions were right-on. It was very easy to find. We look foreward to staying again some day. Thank you, Vince and Melissa Layne Akron, Ohio

Mike & Jackie, Our trip to Murphy was delightful. Your Chalet is great. The view was everything you said it would be & more. We are into Antiquing so we had a great time driving from town to town hitting the shops. Our favorite place was Blue Ridge, Ga. We went as far as Cleveland,Tn. & all towns in between in every direction. We really enjoyed the great number of movies you have, especially "Backdraft." I am a retired Chicago Firefighter & just happened to be in that movie. ( What a ham!) Ha! Ha! Well you guys, thanks again for letting us enjoy the serenity of the mountains, it was great. Sincerely, Mike & Marilyn Sullivan
