My husband and I shared this rental property with another couple with whom we were vacationing. It was an incredible find...we loved our stay. Working with the owners to secure and transact was pleasant and the home itself was very comfortable. We felt right at home and appreciated the break from hotel life. The owners do a nice job of keeping it in perfect condition. I only wish we could have stayed another night. I know we'd consider coming back again. |

Thanks Denese
We had a GREAT time at your place . . . it is absolutely fabulous! In fact, I think I'll email you the photos my husband took from the weekend. Loved the big skylight in the bathroom, very light and airy and the kitchen was so well equipped it made it very fun to cook. The beds were waaaaaay beyond comfortable. We all slept like babies.
We ate at Waterfront Bay on your recommendation and it was FABULOUS! Went to the great candy store and bought tons of retro candy for our grandkids who have birthdays next week which parties we will trek to Seattle for.
I noticed in the guest book that Jeff Jeffrey from Corvallis had also rented your place. He and I serve together on the board of a non-profit assisted living facility here in our small town . . . it's a small world, isn't it?
Anyway, thanks so much . . we loved it and will definitely rent it again and have recommended it to our friends already.

Good morning Denese,
You have a lovely place in Heceta Beach and I can see why you purchased it and would want to go there. We enjoyed our stay there very much and will probably come back again if it is available. There is just enough separation for the grandkids to be playing downstairs and the adults to sit upstairs. The weather was unbelievable at 62 degrees, sunny and warm with a light breeze. I should have brought my golf clubs but who would think of doing that in the middle of November in Florence. I guess I have a lot to learn about the pacific northwest weather patterns. We were also there during the Civil War (Oregon's equivilant of the Big Game). OSU versus Oregon was the talk of the town and everyone had a favorite. November 25th 2005

We had a wonderful time at your beach house. It was so beautiful.& Such a comfortable place for all of us.
The greatest thing happened when we were there. Our friends from Portland did get to come and they bought a wedding license so I performed their wedding ceremony in front of the big Ficus tree! So you can say your house is great for a tiny wedding! ( too bad the newly weds didn't get the master bedroom , because they didn't make up their minds that they were actually coming! They got the den.) Sam and I had that nice master bedroom , which was really a wonderful space. You must really have a nice time there in the summer. I loved the pictures of your family , its so nice to personalize the space.
Thanks for sharing your lovely house. Have a great Thanksgiving ,
Marlene
