We highly recommend this beautiful home. It is lovingly cared for and immaculate. The setting and immediate neighborhood is charming (on a gentle hillside overlooking Amsterdam Bay). The house has fantastic views of the bay. Our family had a blast kayaking and swimming at nearby Lake Florence. We saw dolphins on the ferry ride to the island and deer from the deck of the home. The owners were a pleasure to work with and helped make our stay extra special.
We find Anderson Island to be a hidden gem. Anderson Island is very easy to reach from Seattle, Olympia or Portland. Our stay at Anderson Island was similar to those on the San Juan Islands but less expensive and closer to home albeit with fewer island community amenities. This home is an amazing retreat for peaceful relaxation/an excellent value! |
