A place for true relaxation.
A lovely and comfortable house. My two daughters (2 1/2 and 4) both felt completely at home; although the house is not child-proofed, I never feared for their safety (or that they might break something).
We made good use of the canoe, paddling daily a half-mile to the small beach where the girls had a blast.
The property is on the shallower end of the lake, which is great: no loud motors blasting by to ruin the peace and quiet. Quiet enough that there is a beaver lodge no more than 30 feet from the dock.
If you want to relax with all the comforts in natural surroundings, 2 Pines 'Hide Away' is for you. |

| We had a wonderful time at your beautiful lake home. We caught several northern pike and bass using your row-boat. We felt very much at home, falling asleep to the sounds of the loons brings back happy memories. |

We are so happy to hear wonderful things about our vacation lake home. We think it is so unique to be so secluded with this much acreage along the lake, and have so much wildlife around us, and yet be so close to so many activities too. Fishing is always good somewhere on the lake whatever time of the year you spend here, you can always catch a nice meal of fresh fish.

Our group of nine fisherman range in age from 14-65 and everyone loved the place! the fishing was great and we got a lot of use out of the boat and canoe. Your house is very well equipped we found everything we needed except a bar of soap. Thanks again for working with us on this once in a life-time trip.

Oh, we do not furnish bar-soap in the vacation rental, but we do have liquid hand-body soap dispensers throughout the rental, that way we do not have to throw the soap away when each party checks-out.

We had a wonderful time - the fishing was great! Lots of Bass-- This house is beautiful, the yard is very well landscaped, we sat by the fire almost every night! Thanks so much. We very well might come back again!

A great time was had by all. Love the flowers and gardens, enjoyed many a bike ride and love seeing and hearing all of the wildlife. We saw owls, deer, muskrat, hawks, and a bald- eagle, and many chipmucks, lets not forget the loons, it was fantatic to listen to the coyotes singing again! Wish you would have been next door so I could have seen your studio and talked with a kinderd spirit!

| We were there August 13-16, 2007. This is a very nice house right on Shirt Lake near Deerwood, MN. Closest town is maybe 5 miles. Very quiet. Lake is very low in 2007, so don't plan on doing boating. Use the time reading, relaxing, enjoying the quiet and peacefulness of the place. Owners are very friendly, and keep the place spotless. We would stay again when we just want to get away from the normal routine. |

Owner recommends to oar out to the main part of the lake and then you will be able to boat anyplace and do pretty much any type of water sports. The only way to get to our dock at this time is by row-boat or canoe.

Everything you need! Just take your suitcase. We felt right at home. Well organized, fully equipped right down to the Margarita glasses, spacious and quiet! Could not ask for more. cannot speak highly enough forthe whole experience.

We spent five days in this beautiful house. The beds are so comfortable we fell a sleep as soon as our heads hit the pillows. The owners were so friendly felt like home, and our dog was welcomed. we will be returning next year. The best Vacation I have had.

we cant beleive we've been going to these high priced hotels for years, when you can rent a spacious house on the lake. Wow. Live and learn i guess.

Great place to stay. Very clean home
and extremely peaceful!!! Nice
change from the fast pace of city ife!
Comfy beds, and if you leave the
wiindows open at night you can hear
the loons on the lake!
Nice spacious kitchen to fry up your
fish that you can catch from the lake.
I would HIGHLY recommend this
property. Feels like a home away

| We have been coming to this lake home for years. It is close enough to anything you want to do. Golf, casino, shopping, etc. or you can just stay in relax in the absolutly quiet, private, spacious yard. You can catch numerious pan fish right off the dock. Our favorite is at night with the windows open you can hear the loons & owls, most of the night. |
