We rented both houses, and enjoyed them tremendously. I have rented houses throughout Costa Rica, and have never stayed at one that is so well stocked. The kitchen has appliances I have never seen in a beach house, including blender (my sister made gazpacho!), etc. In addition, the house provides beach towels and even a beach mat, again, which I have never seen at a beach house in Costa Rica. Moreover, it has a gas grill, with which we cooked the most delicious fresh fish, bought at the local fish market. I recommend beaches La Penca and Conchal, for which, however, you will have to drive. Potrero itself is not the best beach around.

We had a wonderful time. Our kids loved the pool
and we all loved the neighborhood feel. It was
great to be able to walk to the beach and the gelato
place is only a short bike ride away. We also loved
the resident toad. Thank you for sharing Casa
Blanca with us!

Stayed at Casa Blanca and had a great time. Visited beaches, Playa Potrero, Penca and Flamingo. Had great food at the Castle, El Grillo and Marco Polo. Enjoyed nice sunsets at Bahia Del Sol resort and Las Brisas. Can't wait to stay again. Loved the backyard w/pool.
