Perfect - what a hidden gem!, June 19, 2009 By Teresa Harris (New Hampshire, USA) We had a fantastic week in Minnesota, in great part due to the comfortable, quiet and convenient accomodations here... wild rabbits at dawn and dusk; quiet tree-lined view - and yet practically walking distance to shopping, great restaurants and the major highway system. The kitchen was a bonus - fully stocked for complete meal cooking! We hope to return again on future visits, and are thrilled to have found such a "home away from home" in MN. Many, many thanks.

All the way down from Fargo we talking about our two other VRBO experiences and wondering if we'd get lucky a third time. Well, we're not wondering anymore. We LOVE your home. It's everything you describe in the VRBO listing and way more. The layout and features suit us to a "T". The office is perfect and alows Laurie to enjoy the fabulous plasma TV while he's puttering (usually research on what we're planning for tomorrow or on something we've seen and are contemplating buying). The view from your patio doors is stunning...We'll touch next spring to arrange next year's trip. We really want to come back to your home. Everything was perfect.

| This house was immaculate and pretty. We were in town for a conference and this place as beautiful and relaxing to come back to after a tough day. It was close enough to downtown to make the commute a breeze. The ammenties for cooking were excellent. I would highly recommend this place and Denise was very easy to work with. |

We greatly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of your home, and after a long tiring day, it was always a pleasure to return "home"...the highlight of our trip was the appearance of 4 deer who stood in the wooded area and watched us watching them!

Sadly we are heading home tomorrow. We have had such a nice Christmas here, thanks in no small part to our accommodations. We could literally walk anywhere we needed to go, though truthfully we generally took the car. The location was so convenient for access for shopping, meals out, and entertainment. Yet, we felt like we were in the country on our walks through and around the Preserve. We walked around the lake next to the wildlife nesting area, and also visited the hockey rink in the park near your place. We walked to Starbucks next to Jerry's Market, as well as to Dunn Bros Coffee. We were actually able to find everything we needed for Christmas food, decorations, and gifts in a relatively short period of time. We were all settled in for Christmas by Saturday... Your kitchen is so well equipped, we were able to cook Turkey, stuffing, and the works...
We thank you very much for the stay here. What a nice area, and the people seem so friendly. Have a wonderful New Year.

We're on our way after a great holiday weekend. Thanks much for the use of the townhouse -- it worked out well for us. We found it well equipt (Nancy said she didn't need to bring the roasting pan from Seattle . . ), convenient and private. We enjoyed the neighborhood trails, the restaurants and the 18 movie screens within 10 mn walking! Nancy is leaving a few things in the fridge hoping someone will be able to use them. Best wishes, thanks again and we hope to be back.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. The location is great and the woods are "peaceful". It is nicely furnished and well-equipped and we had everything we would want to feel comfortable...we lived like the "locals"... we enjoyed the walking trails, parks and lakes in the metro area...Good tips in your menu book. The information book was a nice touch.
Looking forward to another visit in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The freedom of a “home away from home” worked very well for us. Amazing that you can be so close to shops, restaurants, major routes and even the airport but still enjoy such peace and quiet. I would imagine that checking availability for another visit is the greatest compliment.

| This is a well appointed town house, in a very convenient location. This was my wifes first introduction to the USA. We came via Dulles Washington, which created a very bad first impression for her. Which I am glad to say was recovered by Minesota, the delightful house and the nice folks in Eden Prairie. Would I return to the same house, you bet I would. |

Everything worked fine, we soon came to terms with the technology in the house. Its so well appointed, and designed that it was effortless to move into and keep tidy. Eden Prairie turned out to be a great location. The travelling into or across Minneapolis was so easy...Also having so many local lakes with easy access and major Wildlife refuges within 15 minutes drive made it very relaxing. We watched the trees leaf, and the blossom come out on what was the USA's equivalent of the Hawthorn. So each day the views at the house changed. We saw the warblers arrive, and had our heads skimmed by a hunting hawk, while on the deck. We shall miss the Woodchuck, and the eastern cotton tails, and the American Robin that checked on us every day from the deck railing.

My wife and I are in town to adopt a baby...we are getting a lot of use out of the fireplaces...We see the turkeys about once a day. Yesterday morning we saw a wolf/coyote? chasing a bunny through the backyard... It looks like we may get some more snow tonight. Just wanted to let you know we will be leaving MN tomorrow morning. We had a great time and enjoyed your townhome.
