We have just returned from Paris and stayed at the wonderful apartment in Rue Caulaincourt.We have stayed in apartments in Paris before but this was outstanding. Our friends staying in typical french hotels(cupboard size) were very envious of the space and quality fittings and furniture.The bathroom was extensive by parisian standards and there was a very good range of towels and linen too. We found it very quiet but so close to everything we needed from the shops to a laundromat,hairdresser and even the taxi across the street. The information about the district was very helpful to get us off the tourist track and seven of us enjoyed a great meal at Les Feuillades(at the bottom of the steps by the entrance to the metro-3 courses for 24 euros- recommended by Lauren.)After this terrific experience we wouldn't bother to try anywhere else.

What a wonderful experience?
We were warmly welcomed by the wonderful Lauren. Staying at this luxurious accommodation in a truly Parisian neighbourhood allowed us to experience Paris like a native. The apartment is conveniently located close to wonderful shops where you could buy delicious food to make for a feast back at your apartment. The apartment is very spacious and is very fully furnished to a high standard and equipped in such a manner that we were left wanting for nothing. We found ourselves not wanting to leave the luxury and comfort of the apartment which felt like home to us.
The owners have prepared a wonderful guide to the apartment which contained lots of very relevant and accurate information( eg public transport, eating out, site seeing) to ensure ALL our need were catered for. The apartment is extremely well served by Bus and Metro( approx 3 mins stroll) Being avid travellers and having taking numerous city breaks to include Paris ( previously staying in hotels), this experience ranks as the most enjoyable. We experienced Paris in a relaxed fashion in a street surrounded by Parisians getting on with their day to day activities.
We will definitely be back to enjoy another taste of Paris in this splendid apartment nestled in Montmarte.

We loved it!!
The apartment was large and spacious and suited our needs perfectly. It was quite, beautifully furnished and the large bed was extremely comfortable.
The kitchen was fully equiped and clean, and the bathroom was spacious. The wireless internet connection worked perfectly so I could keep an eye on my emails. The english language channels and the dvd collection ensured quality downtime when we wished to relax.
The Caulaincourt location was perfect and though the metro and bus was very close, we walked just about everywhere. The selection of grocery stores in the neighborhood was fantastic.
A big thank you to Lauren who was our perfect host. My wife and I can't speak any more highly about the apartment and its location. A true Parisian experience. |

Simply beautiful. A great sense of space and light in
a one bedroom apartment yet with an intimate feel.
The kitchen and (amazing) bathroom are a treat to
use. Having Parisian friends over for pre-dinner
drinks, who themselves marveled at the tasteful
decor, amenities and ability to entertain several
guests in the spacious surrounds, was a delight.
On a street with truly local character (fromageries,
boulangeries, trattorias, cafes, pharmacies, wine
stores, bookstores, etc.) yet only steps away from
the tourist hubbub of Sacré-Coeur surrounds.
Nearby bus stops and metro's can take you to any
part of Paris, however with an apartment such as
this one has to fight the temptation to simply stay
at home!! |

In February 2006, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Paris in your beautiful apartment. The location of the apartment coupled with the atmosphere you have managed to create there, resulted in a memorable trip. We truly loved it. The apartment is big and spacious and is beautifully furnished, with a very large and comfortable bed. We particularly loved the huge bathroom and the fact that the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Thank you so much for letting us share your beautiful Parisian home. We hope to return soon.

What an amazing apartment! Beautifully decorated, super spacious, the bedroom and ensuite are enormous. There are incredible views in every direction - even the bathroom! The street is lovely and has all of the amenities. Just a few streets over is Sacre Coeur and close by is rue des Abbesses with all it's night life. I had no idea that staying in the 18th could be so memorable.
