We're regretting our depature from your lovely condo. We've had a wonderful week going up to the Haleakala Crater, taking the road to hana, swimming at Kapalua Beach, shopping in Lahaina, swimming at the pool here and , of course, eating. We enjoyed cooking here but managed to have a delicious dinner at Lahaina Store Grille and Oyster Bar, our splurge! The Kona Shrimp with chile rellano was delicious, the sunset was beautiful and the chocolate lava cake was to die for ! The burgers at the Front Street Grill were tasty and the pizza we picked up from Penne Pasta hit the spot.
But, all was even better, when we came "home" to your condo, John - had a margarita (in our plastic Mickey D "Latte" glasses) out by the pool and just relaxed. Then -showers in the condo were wonderful. You should get a percentage of the profit made by all the contractors back home who have to rip out our old baths and "redo" based on your condo! I'm sure we're not the only ones thinking of renovating as a result of your condo! I even have photos of the carpet!
Harumi and her crew also do a great job of getting the place ready. And, we enjoyed every moment! We,ll pass on the word. Thanks - The Texas Gals

We enjoyed your beautiful condo and made the most of our close proximity to Front Street. The highlight for our sons was to ride the jet skies in Kaanapali. Also, fabulous snorkeling at Black Rock & Olawalu (the best - 7.1 miles sout of condo).
We replaced the bulbs over the kitchen bar with 2 new CFL bulbs from Ace Hardware - trying to conserve energy. Toaster was dead upon our arrival - can hold down handle to use!

We love it here at the Aina Nalu. Your unit is beautifully decorated and is the best location on the property. Our three children loved being close to the pool and club house and made good use of the facilities. While unloading our van one evening, four baby kittens came out through the fence and played with my little ones. They loved it! Just like they loved the hammock and gathering coconuts to play with. We had a great grip to Hana, Paia, Kihei, Makawao, and Wailea. Our three day stay in Molokai was wonderful. We attended my brother's wedding there and met our new inlaws. Now that's way cool.... Thank you! We picked your condo mainly by location. Our favorite spots are close by. Breakwall (surfing), Sunrise Cafe (breakfast), Foodland (grocery and poke!!), Maui Tacos (duh), Kimo's (hula pie), and Scoop's (ice cream).
Visiting the local spots brought back wonderful memories of our wedding. Your condo was the cherry on the top with all of the modern conveniences that made it feel like home. Aloha! We stayed a couple of times here when it was the Maui Islander and were intitially disappointed to find out the the Islander was no more. Although it was a bit run down, we appreciated it for it's rustic feel. We were fortunate enough to locate Dr. Wayland's condo here. It has certainly gone more upscale and is very well-equipped. Not many places you find a rice cooker. And don't over-look the beach umbrellas next to the washer/dryer! This place still has the most relaxed resort feel on Maui and Lahaina is the place to be. Only unfortunate thing is the $15 per day parking ripoff but Dr. John warned us about that. Here's hoping you enjoy your stay as much as we did ours!!!

Boy, did we love our condo! It's so thoughtfully planned out with many luxuries and considerations. This is where we'll stay when we return. Both familes said we could easily live here in your rental. The wireless internet, DVD, and TV's were much used and appreciateed. And it was great to have all the basics furnished for us - even suntan lotion and beach towels. How thoughtful! We only had to buy food.
Thanks for the nicest vacation rental we've ever stayed in.

Your condo is BEAUTIFUL! Absolutely spotless and comfortable! Love the slate tile showers. Kitchen had all the necessary tools and great appliances. We travel a lot and this is the nicest private property we have ever stayed at. Even looking into getting one of our own!

We loved our stay in Maui! The location of your condo is great being within steps of nice shops and good food. The proximity of the condo to the major roadway makes it easy to get to the best beaches by shuttle and bus such as the sugarcane train to Kaanapali. We also found it easy to drive to Haleakala Crater fo the sunset which was well worth the drive and cool temperatures. We love the extras you have in the condo such as the TV's and the Wi-Fi; well used. the fantastic showers and decor are a lovely addition!
