Arrival: What a great beginning - the cottage, the water, the privacy & the fun that Bud & Sis (pets) will have. Sleep awaits/be back in a few days....Almost forgot to come back - we're packing up -- it's been a great week hiking at Mooseehorn Park & Quoddy Head (amazing views), swimming at Rouques Bluffs (peaceful beach)& enough lobster & steamers too last 'til next summer. Eastport - quaint & friendly - a very relaxing week indeed & Sis & Bud swam 'til their hearts were content. P.S.: We ate bass from the lake one night, fresh & delicious. Thanks for everything...

What a wonderful place! We had a great time out on the lake, river & hiking around. Oliver, the not-so-adventurous dog, suddenly became Oliver-the Adventure Pup! He loved the hikes, the ocean was fun-dodging waves but he's not sure about canoeing - will let you know. Thank you - this was just what we needed!

We enjoyed our stay in this marvelous cottage. The lake in the backyard is amazing. The view when you look into the lake is fantastic. It is like a mirror in the water. But the best thing about it is you can wake up go into the backyard and start fishing or swimming or whatever. This is certainly one of the best vacation homes we have ever been in.

We had a great week here in Maine. The cottage is lovely & very comfortable. This was the 1st time that my husband & I visited Maine and I'm very happy that we found you & the cottage on the internet. This is definitely the best way to explore a new place and relax. We rested, cooked on the grill and fished. I did lots of reading up in the loft. We think our boxer, Sammy, thinks that we are living up here for good! He has been running around here like he owns the place! Thanks again. It's been a memorable vacation.

Thank you! The cottage is perfect! Views, birds, equipped kitchen - even a tub!! We really enjoyed the hiking -- did lots of relaxing by the water. Definitely coming back -- lots more trails to hike. Recommend Cutler Public Preserve -- gorgeous!

What a great week we've had. Your cottage and partment are both lovely and comfortable. Everything we needed was here. Our only regret was that we had just a week. Family has joined us here from California, Oregon and Washington and we've come up fro New York. Your place was agreat getaway; Peaceful, relaxing, a perfect backdrop for an active week.

We had a terrific week here. Two beautiful "homes" away from home. We loved the quiet, the pristine native surrounding us, the water so close...the kids enjoyed canoeing, the dogs enjoyed swimming to their hearts' content and the adults enjoyed exploring the area. We had an unhealthy start to the week but were able to make the best of it. You've thought of everything to make this the perfect getaway! Thank you.

What a beautiful apartment and lovely lake! We caught 2 brown trout and fried them for breakfast -- what a feast! We tucked ourselves away safe upstairs and fell asleep several nights listening to the wonderful sounds of rain through the trees! We awoke to robins singing. Amazingly, one evening a moose ran down the lane in front of our car, as we returned from dinner. We were squeeyling and so excited. We also watched a huge turtle digging up your road and flower bed -- trying to decide where to put her eggs! Thanks again for your hospitality and our lovely time.

We arrived late 2 Sunday nights ago and woke up to 5" of snow and no power. It was lovely, quiet, full of peace and the gas fireplace was a godsend. Over the week, all snow disappeared, most of the lake ice melted, and we had a blast watching the ducks. Saw a very large Grouse, too. We had a busy-busy week meeting with our builder, so were very happy to come "home" each night to a comfortable/warm/inviting refuge. And since we like to cook and eat in, the fully stocked kitchen was appreciated -- even the potato masher for Easter dinner and especially the apron. Baby dog, Blue, loved the early morning drinks at water's edge, while we watched the sunrise. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us.

| Lucia -- Our family had an absolutely incredible time. Thank you very much. The place was beautiful, warm, immaculate, and quiet. We also really appreciated your attention to detail, and the way you personally made sure everything was satisfactory. We caught fish right from the lawn, saw eagles from the backyard, and took some amazing kayak trips along the river and around the lake. And, our dog thought is was the best vacation she ever had. |

| Lucia, What a wonderful, peaceful week. The cottage was immaculate, and the accommodations were close to perfect. Your concern for our comfort was appreciated. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening. I've never seen so many stars at night. Tilly (puppy) had fun running around the back yard as well as exploring the Maine coast. Thank you--I'm sure we'll be back for another visit! |

| A wonderful place to escape to! The accomodations are top-notch, and the service from the owner was outstanding. Bring your boat/raft/innertube, because the view from the lake and river is very scenic and tranquil. Hope to return soon! |

| Lucia, We had a great time. What a spot. We had the lake to ourselves except fot the 4th of July when we saw one other person. The trip on the lobster boat on Machias Bay was fantastic. Eagles, harbor seals, porpoises, it was amazing. The house is much roomier than we expected and very comfortable. What a great kitchen for cooking up all that lobster!! Thanks again. We'll tell our friends. |
