We just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay at this lovely condo. The location was great - you can walk to explore but we rented a car. Friendly helpful neighbors. Decor is new and delightful and it had all the ammenities of home. Would recommend to any couple or single looking for a true home away from home with a spectacular view. A slice of paradise!

I stayed here for six weeks and when I get back
home and review my photos 90% will probably be of
the view, as it's one you just don't want to forget.
And all of what the other guests have said is true:
the place is "well appointed" (in realtor's parlance),
with a comfy bed (which is rare in Mexico), all the
kitchenware you'll need, wonderful patio, CD player,
internet connection, big TV, etc. All those things
are nice and definitely appreciated. But during my
stay the experience also included a delightful condo
community that contributed much to my
enjoyment: I like the fact that Mexicans, resident
gringoes, and vacationers all live in this small
complex, so that you can say "Buenos Dias!" to
people heading off to work in the morning or hear
the kids going to school, or if you need directions
or advice someone "who has been there before" is
there to call on, or if the folks on shorter vacations
want to share their latest discovery they can peek
inside the screen door to see if I am home. This is
stuff you don't get at a hotel.

In my opinion the condo complex is located in one
of the more quiet locations on the peninsula,
although some sound from the distant boulevard or
weekend music can be heard at night. Rest assured,
though, it's nothing like the noise at night found on
the south side of the peninsula, near Las Hadas or
Karmina Palace. Relatively speaking, this is about as
tranquilo as it gets here. Because it is located away
from the main roads, and thus the noise, the price
you pay, if you don't want to rent a car, which I
didn't, is a little walking. I found the most direct
road to the bus route and took the bus into town
most of the time. For 5 pesos you can go a long
way and it's more fun than a taxi. However, if I was
loaded down with groceries on my return trip, a
taxi is a welcome convenience. I also met a lot of
people who owned a car and I didn't hesitate to ask
for a ride, especially if I needed to go somewhere at
night.

My general advice is - be polite and friendly and
learn and use at least some Spanish and your visit
will be a much richer experience. And concerning
this condo, I highly recommend it (- anytime other
than when I would like to be here...'-) For specifics,
I'm available to answer a few questions via email.

We spent a week in this condo during the off season in Manzanillo. There is nothing that we wanted for during that week. Val was more than kind and very helpful in getting us all the information and everything we needed prior to our arrival. We were initially struck at how lovely the condo was decorated. Val obviously took great care and thought when setting it up. It has a kitchen stocked with all the dinnerware and appliances you will need, a cozy bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable king size bed, a cozy living area and a very nice size bathroom. The bathroom is filled with big, thick, soft towels and all the amenities you will need. The true gem is the balcony area. It is furnished with a sofa, a table with chairs and plenty of plants. Sitting out there and having your coffee or watching the sunsets is truly spectacular. It, like the rest of the condo, is decorated in bold, beautiful colors. When we arrived, the satellite TV was not working so we called the manager and it was remedied immediately. He and his wife take great effort to make you happy with your stay. We walked everywhere from the condo with no problem but you should know that it is somewhat of a hike to get back up to it. Just be prepared. If you’re not walkers, a taxi will take you most anywhere in town for $3-5. The only time we ever called a taxi was to take us to the bus station. Lastly, stop and buy drinking water before you get to the condo as you won’t want to get there and then find out you have none to drink. Should that happen, there is a little convenience store just down the hill from the condo that has most anything you may need on short notice. Personally, I found the condo comfy and relaxing; much like being home but without the work, the bills or the problems.

My stay at Sunset #1 was paradise for lack of a better word….. Everything about my visit here with my husband was perfect. The condo is decorated to make you feel that you are in Mexico, bright and happy. You could eat out of the floor corners it’s so clean.
The view is incredible. I watched fishermen with there nets fighting off the pelicans in the mornings. No bugs at all, my stay was 11/4/2006 through 11/11/2006.
I would recommend this piece of heaven to anyone…

I have stayed at this condo two times in the past two years and I'm going again this November. I just love it. It was just so wonderful. I fell in love with the condo and Manzanillo, and I plan to go back every year. The condo was so beautiful. It is very clean and is decorated so cute and colorful. It just makes you happy to be there. The bed is very comfortable which is always important. There are so many amenities in this condo. Everything we needed. The patio is just the best thing about the place, it is a two level patio and it offers the most beautiful view of the bay and the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my life. My boyfriend and I had just a wonderful stay at this condo. It is in a quite little area, and all the neighbors and people around were so friendly. They would tell us anything we needed to know about Manzanillo. There is so much to do there and so much to see. I have been to a lot of places in Mexico but there is no place in Mexico like Manzanillo, the people are great and the food is great. This condo is very much a great deal for the price the owners charge. I had to share my thoughts on how wonderful this condo is and Manzanillo itself because this is the place I'm going to get married! Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the condo or Manzanillo, I'd be more then happy to answer any questions you might have. Enjoy!!!
