My husband and I recently spent 10 glorious days
at the cottage. I had my doubts about renting, but
we were very pleased with the accomodations, i.e.,
the appearance of the cottage, comfort,
cleanliness.We found the owners unusually
responsible and responsive to questions. They
came right over when something was confusing us.
Two passes for the MB Aquarium (a $55 value) were
left on the counter, linens were good, and the
kitchen was fairly well-stocked. As we like to cook
and the home is so inviting, the kitchen could use a
few new pans and big bowls (a salad spinner?). We
were so delighted with our quiet, peaceful
surroundings that we ate in many nights, making
exceptions for the excellent PassionFish (a short
walk away) and a few other places.
We were a bit uncomfortable in the living room –
and hardly used it – due to the state of the slip-
covers.
Otherwise, as stated, we had a wonderful time,
truly enjoyed the adorable cottage (and guest
quarters), even ate outside one evening on the
small patio. We are both from California and
enjoyed our time on the peninsula completely – the
rental was a complete success.
