We stayed at the Haus Wussler over Memorial Day weekend. We truly enjoyed our visit to the Black Forest and the accomodations provided by the Wussler family. Our daughter loved the animals on the farm and the play area to get her energy out when we weren't out sightseeing. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and will recommend to our friends to stay with them should they visit the Black Forest area. Thank you for such a wonderful family trip.

So much to see and do in the area or just spend the time relaxing. We can't wait to come back to Haus Wussler again with our family. Our hosts made us really feel like part of the family and we are sorry to have left! |

Beautiful property, excellent location, the most wonderful proprietors: Herr undt Frau Wussler. The Haus Wussler exceeded our expectations and provided a great base for exploring the Schwartzwald and Alsace, France. Barbara and Irwin, Thank you for a lovely time.

Three words describe a vacation at Haus Wussler – Heaven on Earth. My husband and I just spent 10 wonderful days in the beautiful breath talking Black Forest. I did not want to leave and have promised I will return. Barbara and Erwin are wonderful people who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is more than you expected. Upon leaving I felt like I was leaving friends that I have known for years. Thank you is not enough for all they do. The apartment was perfect. The pictures on line do not do it justice. Thank you – Thank you – Thank you – Barbara and Erwin for a wonderful, memorable, unforgettable vacation in the beautiful Black Forest.

A big 'DANKE' to Barbara and Erwin who made our stay at 'Haus Wussler' very special. The flat was spotless and comfortable and the little personal touches were much appreciated: Fresh flowers on the table with Easter decorations; a huge basket of Easter eggs (and wine for the grown-ups!)on Easter Sunday and even a present for our daughter's 2nd birthday. The most thoughtful hosts you could wish for. Our daughter loved the farm and playing in the Gengenbach streams. A great place for toddlers - don't forget their wellies!

I loved staying at Haus Wussler! My dad and I stayed there for a week, and it was not long enough. We had such a great time and Barbara and Erwin and the best hosts I have ever met. They went beyond our expectations, and made our stay relaxing and very enjoyable. It would be wise to rent a car. You can take many day trips. My dad and I went to the mountains, Triberg waterfall, a historic meuseum, Europa Park, and many other places. Haus Wussler is really in an ideal location. What a great view! Also the little town Gengenbach is not disappointing. It is a very memorable town with many things to do. At the tourist info. they will help you plan your days, also Barbara and Erwin are more than willing to give advice. From the bottom of my heart I recommend everyone to stay here. You will not regret it! We didn't and we plan on visiting again. You will not find a better place to stay in the Black Forest than at Haus Wussler.

Our family spent 8 nights at Haus Wussler (June 06) and we had a wonderful time. The apartments were well furnished, clean, very reasonably priced and in a wonderful location. It is picturesquely located on a hillside overlooking the Black Forest and is very close to Gengenbach, an absolutely beatiful small German town with a traditional central square and surrounding walls and gates. There are numerous day trips available to France, Switzerland, and the Black Forest area. I am happy to heartily recommend Haus Wussler and the kind hosts Barbara and Erwin who kindly gave us a bottle of champagne and together we celebrated my wife's birthday. Ernest Hodges

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay while in Germany, a true home away from home. We stayed in the "Panoramic View" apartment which lived up to its name and offered us a fantastic view of the Kinzig Valley. The owners are kind and generous hosts - don't forget to take some of their homemade schnapps home with you before you go. I recommend this property eithout hesitation to anyone who wants a relaxing, picturesque place to stay in Germany. Families with children will find it especially welcoming and warm. Thank you Barbara & Erwin for making our vacation so memorable!
