Six couples from our town stayed in both the large and small villa for a week and it was a fabulous experience. We all had enough privacy, big private bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the villas were quiet. The grounds and pools are gorgeous. We loved it!

The villa was wonderful! Very spacious and much more than we ever expected in amenities. It was a great beginning to our trip since it allowed us to become familiar w/Italian street signs, customs, etc in such a pleasant and relaxed way. We(4 couples were provided such a warm welcome by the caretakers. Pieve was such a delightful city. Location of villa was perfect for day trips by car or public transportation. Although the town has much to offer I would recommend a car since there were so many wonderful towns nearby. Had a wonderful experience as we were looking for the narrowest street in Pieve. Had just purchased a postcard of it and would ask directions by pointing to the postcard since I spoke no Italian. A woman, named Maria, who spoke no English, was sitting outside her house, eating grapes and when asked where the street was she told us she would take us there (many hand signals and gestures). Tried to explain she did not have to do this but she insisted. As we neared the street the rest of our group was coming toward us, Maria had also taken them there without our knowing it! On our way back to the villa we all had our picture taken with her! This moment of kindness will be one of our many treasured memories.

The villa was magical! It is in such a beautiful setting. It was perfect for 8 people. The surrounding towns were quaint and very convenient. The food, the wine, and the restaurants were fabulous. The location is very central to many towns in Tuscany and Umbria along with the train being so close making it easy to go to Florence, Rome, and Venice. It was a wonderful experience!

This villa is absolutely beautiful. Located in a remote and beuatiful area with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, it has everything you could dream of. Our group of 8 (4 couples) had a ball enjoying not only the clean and spacious inside, but also the pool and eating areas on the outside. One small suggestion: if you are flying from the states to Rome, consider taking a direct flight if at all possible; traveling through London is a nightmare these days. When you are planning for transportaiton, perhaps consider renting a car for areas closer to the villa, and using the train for the big cities (such as Rome and Florence) which are farther away. The train station is closeby.Citta de Pieve is a sweet little town, and so is Chiusi.I would have no reservations about recommending this villa to anyone. It is a beautiful, romantic Italian farm home owned by a lovely Italian family who try whole heartedly to make your visit a truly memorable one.

Beautiful villa! Spacious, clean, wonderful vistas, nice pool, great outdoor eating area and modern bathrooms. Great for 8 people. Good location within walking distance to small town and close to many site seeing destinations. Good restaurants in close proximity. Had a wonderful time. Would rent again.

We loved the house in Citta de la Pieve. We had more than enough space for the six of us. It was truly a beautiful, quiet spot with amazing views. It was fun to walk to town to eat dinner and then home again. It is a charming town. We would definitely rent there again.
