DCUK house of the year!
The pictures do not do justice to that place. The real house is much warmer, cozier and roomier than the pictures would make one believe. If you are into cooking your own food wait till you see what you get to play with in the kitchen :) Good cast iron pans, granite countertops and a very awesome gas grill just outside on the patio :) Add to that a clean, functioning dishwasher, a fridge, a very nice dining set for six with placemats that match the walls and add to the whole "welcome to your home away from home" atmosphere and you will have a place where breakfasts and dinners are cooked with love and devoured with enthusiasm and appetite that only a lake house can inspire :)
You noticed I did not mentioned lunches? You do not stay home for lunches! You hit the trails! Scale the mountains! Breath in fresh air :) Ride jet skies and fish in the summer and ski in the winter. If you are looking for a good family fun that does not include elevation gains of a mile or so drive to High Falls Gorge or Natural Stone Bridge & Caves. In short go out and have fun :)
And when you are back and finished that mouthwatering freshly made dinner of yours play some board games, watch TV, watch a DVD or go to bed early and recharge for the next beautiful shiny and happy day :)
As the plaque in the dining room says “Friends are welcome, Family by appointment” be a friend, come and stay there. You will have a very good time. We just did. The Labor Day weekend was spectacular! :)
Thank you very much, Dear Lynn. You are the bestest!

| Very well equipped and well maintained house in good location. Close to many activities in Lake George and Adirondacks. The path to the beach and dock is steep and rocky, so be prepared for that. |

| We have taken a family trip to different areas of the Adirondacks for several years now. The Kiraly's place was by far the most comfortable and "homiest" of places we have stayed. The ceiling fans were a plus as the weather decided to turn very hot the week we went up there. It is well maintained and very tastefully decorated. There were lots of little details like games (which kept the kids busy)and a drawer full of "things to do" in the region. It is also located in a very pretty area of the Adirondacks--close to both Lake George and the High Peaks region. Oh, the two bathrooms were a definite plus as well! A very lovely place to get away and relax! |

A+++ 4 stars
I stayed at the Kiraly's home for a week in Aug. '07 The home was much nicer than I expected! It is equipped much better than most with all sorts of extras. My daughter's wedding was in the area and was filmed for TV. The film crew came by 2-3 times and were thrilled with the space and ease of moving camera equipment around. I made breakfast and lunch for up to 30 wedding guests a day and all returned for more food and superior house & deck We enjoyed the beach, when we had time. Wonderful swimming in a private spot. The home was perfect for my needs. Many thanks, I look forward to many returns. Thank you also, for the perfect weather! That wasn't in the contract! ;-} Jeanne |

| We stayed at Loon Lake over the 4th of July week this year and had a great time. The house is very comfortable and the kids loved being able to look down on the living room from above. The sunsets on the lake are beautiful and quite peacefull. Our kids are 13 to 7 years old and they all really enjoyed swimming out and playing on the floating dock. Thanks so much for allowing us to use your lovely home. |

Thank you for renting the house to us for the week. We had a wonderful family vacation and got to see and experience some beautiful weather, sights and sounds. We especially reveled in just relaxing at the house. Thank you so much for supplying the beautiful and comfortable setting. I made friends with a chipmunk while I was there. He loves Cheerios, so feed him a handful for me.
