| We really enjoyed the stay at Mt. Leconte Vista. I have stayed in many cabins in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and this one has some of the best views available.The cabin is nice and clean with lots of ammenities. Val was great to work with and responded quickly to all emails and phone calls before and after our stay. |

| We stayed at Mt LeConte Vista Dec 11-14. We go to Gburg every year and this is the BEST chalet we have ever stayed in!! The view from EVERY room is breathtaking!! Ski season opened on Friday and we hated to leave the chalet because we were so entertained from watching the skiers from our own windows. We cooked dinner 2 nights and breakfast every morning. The kitchen was excellently stocked. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. Thanks, Val, for the recommendation of The Best Italian restaurant. We tried it Sunday night and it was excellent! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this chalet and we will hope to be able to rent it again next year. We will tell all of our friends how great it was! Val was very easy to work with. The whole rental process was simple and went exactly like it was supposed to. Ya'll really have a great chalet. Thanks for sharing it with us!! |

We really enjoyed our stay in Val and Renee's chalet on the mountain in the Smokie Mountains "Gatlinburg" The view is abosolutely gorgeous.
We are a family of five and we were very comfortable there. It is quiet and beautiful.
Val and Renee are the kind of people who stop at the drop of a hat to help you.

| We had a great family vacation here and the view is wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the rest of the wonderful features that are provided. The only problem we had was that the cleaners did not show up to clean until 4:10 pm and they did not have the code to enter the house. We will definately consider returning here for vacation. Val and Renee were great to work with. We did this type of vacation last year at Myrtle Beach and the owner called me every day. I would love to see this place during the winter. |

| Cabin was a little older than i thought it would be, but it had character and we absolutely loved the view. Val & Ranee were very easy to work with. With so much to do around the area, we were at the chalet only in the mornings and evenings but enjoyed the time we were there. The hot tub needs to be updated or at least in working order. I enjoy a good evening in a hot tub after a day of activity. We didnt see any bears but did manage to see some wild turkeys and bobcats on our drive to Cades Cove. It takes some getting used to if you have never driven up and down a mountain on a daily basis, so there was a little adjustment that had to be made as far as getting used to using low gear in the minivan. Overall we had such a good time and would reccomend the chalet to others as a good place to relax and unwind. They clearly have done thier homework as it seemed anything we needed was already at the chalet and we didnt have to buy anything. Will definetly be back! |

As with all rentals, it is impossible to keep everything working 100% of the time. However, we want to assure our guests that when things break it is our TOP priority to get the item repaired ASAP. This guest was at the cabin for 4 nights with no issues. The hot tub issue arose on Sunday. We tried to get a repairman out on Sunday but were unable to do so. A repairman did go to the cabin first thing Monday morning and had the hot tub fixed (new motor, impeller, etc) the same day. We really pride ourselves on keeping everything in our properties in working order.

Thank you for opening up your chalet for me and my sisters and nieces to spend a very special Women Only Weekend (WOW) in memory of our mother and granny whom we lost in December 1999. We choose a different location each year for this gathering and my site (Gatlinburg) was chosen. I wanted a place where we could relax and spend some quality time together and Mt. LeConte Vista was just the place. The chalet was great and the views spectacular. I personally look forward to returning again to Mt. LeConte Vista.

My daughter and I stayed in the Mt La Conte Vista Chalet and had a fabulous time! The chalet was beautiful & very well equipped, the location is perfect. Only 3 miles up the mountian and very convenient. We enjoyed the sunsets & sunrises as well as the fire in the wood burning stove everynight. The hot tub & sauna are absolute plusses!
We will definately recommend this cha;et and look forward to returning again.

We have vacationed in Gatlinburg for the past six years, and Mt. LaConte Vista had by far the most spectacular view we have ever seen. The chalet was very nice and had plenty of space for the six of us. We didn't get to see a bear at the chalet, but we did get to experience the first snow for 2008.
Val and Renee, the owners of the property, are very professional and easy to work with. We would rent from them again.

We as well as my sister and her husband stayed for the week. The house worked out great. It was comfortable and located in a beautiful spot on the mountain. The deck was our first place in the morning and our last at night. We too had seen the bear under the deck, as well as a mama bear with 3 cubs walking up the hill. | We stayed at Mt. LeConte Vista from July 12 to July 19, 2008. Within the first 15 minutes of arriving we saw a beautiful black bear peaking his head through the trees right below the deck!!! We were so excited...it was as if he was just stopping by to welcome us!!!!! The house was beautiful...anything you could possibly need was provided!!! The home was large enough that we all had plenty of room for ourselves and everyone felt they had privacy as well... We took advantage of the 2 community pools that were available...They were both very nice and not far from the house...It was definitely a great experience spending our vacation there and Val and Renee were wonderful to deal with...Their main concern is that their guests have everything they need and that they enjoy their stay! We would definitely recommend staying here at Mt. LeConte Vista!!!! | Wow! Our second stay at your chalet and we again had a wonderful stay. This time around we were greeted with black bears foraging below. Each night they returned between 7pm to 8pm. We referred to their time of arrival as "Bear-thirty". With us this time were our parents and oldest daughter and her boyfriend who did not make the trip with us the first time. The views are so breathtaking, that on July 22nd at sunrise there was a proposal for marriage on the balcony! Hoping to make it next year! Thanks for being so accomadating and great to deal with too! Will sent pics of the bears as soon as we can. |

The wireless internet was a big bonus although I stepped up the wireless security before using, just in case, and then set it back open before our departure. We actually got to see some snow flakes and the ski slopes were full of man-made snow,,what a picture to wake up to every morning. My family was thrilled with the house,,the best vacation yet. Val and Renee were very attentive to any request we made. We are 6 old friends from work and we try to take
short vacation's to reminiscence and enjoy each others company. So we were pleasantly surpised with the warm and cozy cabin. We enjoyed the beautiful view and watching the snow gently fall.
The cabin was well furnished and comfortable. We spent most of our time at the cabin playing cards, listening to music and watching old Christmas dvd's. The little added touches to the cabin such as cards, chips, dice and dvd player made for a fun time.
Val and Renee I would also like to thank you for returning our deposit back so quickly. Again renting from you was a pleasure which made for a great vacation for all. Have a Merry Christmas.

We stayed at the Mt. LeConte Vista from June 25 to July 5, 2007 and had a lovely time. The view from the house is gorgeous and watching the fireworks on July 4th was really neat because you were higher up than the fireworks. The house was really convenient to all of the park and more touristy activities. It was also spacious enough for two families. The cabin also had all of the trimmings needed for a vacation home. It really was a home away from home.
Dealing with the Morels, especially Val, was super. He was so detailed oriented when sending out directions/recommendations, etc. and really terrific with follow-up. All in all, everyone who stayed at the cabin left happy and with many neat memories. |

I have never rented from an individual before this trip, i have always used agents to get my cabin in Gaitlinburg,but i will never use them again.Getting Mt LeConte Vista was as easy as it gets. We did every thing on the computer in about ten mins.They gave us detailed instruction on how to get there,and did not even have to search for it, (or search for some agent to get the key).The chalet was great, very clean, and in good shape. The view from the deck was spectacular.It was a very peaceful trip. |

We enjoyed watching the skiers and the view of the Smokey mountains by day and lights of Gatlinburg at night. We were so close to everything: great restaurants, shopping, and hiking. The house had plenty of parking and we each had our own private spacious bedroom. The kitchen had new appliances and was well equipped and organized with everything we needed. Everything was just nice, clean, and attractive. Val and Renee manage their rental so efficiently that we had no problems with paying or accessing. We look forward to staying at this chalet again. |

We spent Thanksgiving week at Mt. LeConte Vista and it was absolutely wonderful! Beginning with snow the day of our arrival, we experienced snowfall all the way from Chattanooga up the mountain to the chalet, where we found nearly 2" on the ground! Great fun for the kids. The view is spectacular (words really cannot describe it), the chalet is comfortable, spacious and has everything you need for a home away from home. It was the perfect retreat.
My husband also saw a bear running up the road one evening, just steps from the front door - very exciting!
We hope to return and see fall foliage in the mountains next time! I highly recommend renting from Val & Renee, as they have been wonderful and so helpful! |

| My family and I had a wonderful time. My husband and son saw a bear outside while getting firewood, the rest of us spent the rest of the trip trying to see one!!!! The chalet is very beautiful,very spacious and has the best views that I have ever experienced in the mountains. You are above Ober Gatlinburg [the ski resort] and it is incredible!!! | We stayed at Mt. LeConte Vista chalet for the week of the Fourth of July. The first morning we were there, we were having breakfast and saw a mother bear and her three cubs playing on the ski slope. That was quite a treat for people from New Orleans! The chalet itself was wonderful. It was fully stocked with all of the necessities. The hot tub was great after hiking all day in the mountains. With the view of downtown Gatlinburg, we got to watch the Fourth fireworks from the chalet without fighting the crowds. The parking was also great because it was a flat surface and not nearly as frightening as some of the other chalets that we saw. All being said, we will definitely return to Mt. LeConte Vista to do all of the things we couldn't fit into the week that we were there. Thanks! |

The view from this chalet is breathtaking. The 4 bedrooms are about the same size, so no one in your travel party will feel like someone else got the best room. All of the rooms have great views. By not staying in downtown Gatlinburg, it is much easier to get around and yet it's still close by. We had family in from New Mexico and Florida and everyone was really impressed with the chalet.
You can rest knowing that everyone will have a great time if you stay at this chalet. The owners are great to deal with and are very accomodating.
This was one of our familes best trips, I bet it will be yours also.

My wife Renee'and I have just purchased this chalet. It is in a great location with a fantastic view!
The chalet was a little dated, so we replaced the kitchen cabinets and counter tops, installed a new wood floor in the kitchen/dining/foyer area. Re-tiling the fireplace hearth, purchased a big screen (51") TV for the den, and installed a TV in every bedroom. We have installed wireless high-speed internet for those with wireless laptops. We are also replacing a lot of the furniture. These renovations were completed in mid-April 2006.
I am mentioning this so you know that this chalet is a labor of love for us, not just a business transaction. We want you to know that we will always strive to keep the chalet in tip-top condition.
