10 days in September - what a lovely and comfortable cottage. Everything you need is there, and all is in good condition. We really have enjoyed our time there and can highly recommend this cottage. Carola and Norbert/Germany |

We stayed over on Labor Day weekend of 2009. What a pristine and cozy cottage nestled in its gorgeous location next to two parks. We were a party of 5 adults and a 4-year old and an infant of 6 months. The cottage was perfect for us. The electrical outlets were child-proofed and there were children's games to keep my active 4-year old entertained (a bonus!). The outside is as neat and tidy as the inside, the lawn and backyard facing a park is beautifully appointed.
We will definitely stay if we are in the north-Philly area again! Very highly recommended to all families. |

| My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. Sometimes vacations can be difficult with children in tow so it helps to have a "home away from home" to return to after a day's worth of adventures. Having your home to return to after spending the day at Sesame Place was a godsend. It was such a relaxing, cozy place. My sister loved what she referred to as the "reading room" where she just settled into the comfy chair and read her books. And my daughter found her new favorite game with "Don't Spill the Beans", which we played many times in the game room. Thanks again for your warm hospitality. We are certainly considering staying at your residence again in a few years when we return to PA to visit Hershey! |

My son got married at Font Hill in July and I decided to rent a house for a week for my family. We were pleasantly surprised how perfect the house was for our needs. It was comfortable, affordable and had many amenities that were very convenient to all of us. We fond Wilco and Kathy to be hospitable hosts and were very accommodating to our plans. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy the quiet countryside and enjoy a relaxing vacation. |

This cottage is PERFECT if you need some quiet time in the country. It is in a great location and has everything that you could ever need. It feels like your home - clean and comfortable.
OR you could use the cottage for what we did. We got married in Bucks County and needed a place for two nights. The cottage gave me and my girls a place to stay the night before the wedding and a place for my husband and I to stay after we got married. It cut down half of our travel time and saved us a lot of money. Bucks County has only bed and breakfasts that are quite pricey, have 3 night minimums and definitely are not as private.
Thank you so much Wilco & Kathy! I am not lying when I say that your Cottage was perfect and made our wedding that much more special. We will never forget you :) |

| We absolutely loved this property. The house was beautifully decorated and was fully equipped and very "comfortable". The use of the bicycles for the kids was a huge hit!! The room at the back of the garage was a nice place to hang out. There was lots of space both inside and out, for the kids to explore. I highly recommend this place. |

What a fantastic get-away, and what a great house to do it in. I've been to a few vacation rentals, and I've never felt this at home. Thanks to Wilco and Kathy for making our trip such a success.

| Thank you for a wonderful place to stay during our 4th of July vacation. The cottage was like our home away from home. We have 2 small kids, 1 and 3 and they loved it. I can't think of one thing that we needed, that you hadn't thought of. We went to Sesame Place, Philidelphia Zoo, Adventure Aquarium and the Crayola Factory. We also enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard. We had the best vacation. We would definetly come back again. Thank you!! |

| What a great time we had staying at this beautifully furnished cottage. With some family members including grandchildren, we enjoyed the large back yard, the quiet of the trees, and the nearness of Lake Nockamixon. Many thanks to the van den Burgs for making this avaliable to us. |

| Thank you, Kathy and Wilco, for your attention to detail in making your cottage a true vacation home. Everything was top quality. This was a wonderful way for our family of 4 to have a long-term visit with friends & family in the area and also have our own time and space. We also enjoyed seeing the deer and wild turkeys on the grounds! We'll be back... |

Thank you, Wilco and Kathy, for our wonderful stay in your CLEAN and WELL-EQUIPPED cottage. Photos do not do justice to how lovely it is! Our family of 5 (one an infant) shared the cottage with my parents during a family wedding, and it was a perfect place for a family gathering. This was so much better than a hotel stay for people with children -- there was plenty of space, it was super tidy, well stocked and had a beautiful and relaxing natural setting to boot. I just wish we could have stayed longer to see the sights and try the bikes in the shed! Another time... Best, The Bishops |

Wilco and Kathy, We just wanted to thank you again for the opportunity to stay at your lovely cottage. We hope it is the beginning of a yearly family tradition for us...although we are hoping to be able to come back this winter as well. We so appreciated how well stocked and furnished the cottage was all the way down to the bottle of bubbles which our 18 month old greatly appreciated...and the bikes which was also a highlight. We so look forward to our next stay. Kindly, The Drury Family |

Kathy and Wilco,
Haycock cottage was a wonderful vacation spot for myself, children and grandchild. As soon as we entered your cottage, we felt comfortable and relaxed.
The grounds are fantastic and my granddaughter was introduced to her first live frog. She called it froppy. She ran and played quite a bit.
The State Park being so close was an added extra. It really has a fantastic pool.
If we plan a PA trip agian, your cottage would be the place we would want to stay.

Wilco, Kathy, & family, We couldn't have asked for a more warm and charming home to spend our family vacation! The house had everything we needed and was in a perfect location to travel for day trips to Peddler's Village, Sesame Place, The Crayola Factory, and the Elmwood Park Zoo. There is still so much more to see in PA and we hope to be able to return again soon! Thanks again! The DeStefano Family |

Just a quick note to let you know that we enjoyed your property very much. It was well equipped and very tastefully done. I especially enjoyed the den area even without the fire. Wildlife was abundant. We traveled more than I would have preferred but there is so much to see in the area. I will mention briefly the Barnes Foundation which was a highlight. I have never seen such a collection of Impressionist paintings. It is worth another visit. Again thanks for the experience. Fred

| This cottage was the best part of our vacation! We were away from home for a total of 10 days and Bucks County Cottage was our "home away from home" for five of those days! We played so hard - at the cottage (our 3, 7, and 12 year old daughters loved the bikes in the shed and the puzzles, books and games inside and we loved the opporunity to sleep in, stay up late, find a corner to read a good book in, and watch the wildlife) - and outside the cottage (we visited a new place each day, none of the places more than an hour's drive away). Hershey, PA, Gettysbury, New Hope/Lahaska, Langhorne, Washington Crossing and Eaton - we did kid-friendly and adult-interesting activities alike and just really enjoyed knowing this "home-y" cottage was awaiting us at the end of it all. Our advice for anyone not familiar with the area would be to borrow or purchase a GPS before visiting - it made our trips much less stressful around all the windy, beautiful, wooded streets we'd take everywhere. The washer and dryer were a life-saver on the packing end and we really enjoyed being able to eat some of our meals at the cottage, rather than having to drive to eat out all the time. The Van den Burg's were gracious, attentive hosts and we would definitely recommend their cottage as a vacation spot! |

SAME TIME NEXT YEAR!!! For twelve years four artist friends have been meeting in the US and Europe to paint together. This cottage was the best digs we've ever enjoyed. It truly is a beautiful home, fully gifted for every want one could ask for on vacation - and more. We wanted for nothing and yet got so much more than we could ever have dreamed of. Imagine wild turkeys courting in the back yard and dear visiting every morning and evening, a beautiful lake nearby and easy access to Doyalstown, New Hope, Philadelphia and the Brandywine River Valley. You don't have to be an artist to delight in this beauty and comfort. Pure joy! PS Sleeping arrangements are great!

Thanks Kathy and Wilco for what was a wonderfully restful vacation at your cottage. The location was perfect, far enough from Phila to make for a quiet time in the country, and close enough to venture out to the city on day trips. The cottage iteself was fabulous - roomy, charming, so tastefully and so very beautifully kept up! Your hospitality was so much in evidence from the kitchen stocked with every conceivable appliance and provision, to the board games for the kids and the bikes in the shed. The attention to detail was really everywhere to see. We are very grateful indeed. Family and kids had a simply wonderful time. We do hope to be back! Best wishes, The Khans |

| Our stay far surpassed our expectations. The house is lovely with room to spread out play games, read quietly or watch tv. I loved sitting outside and watching for wildlife, or reading in the screened in porch. The kitchen is better equipped than any place we've rented! Great location near lots of interesting places |

| We loved the place - it was decorated beautifully and everything we could ask for was supplied! We have 2 small children (ages 1 & 2) and it was wonderful to stay somewhere they could play and spread out. The pool at the nearby state park made for a relaxing day and it was great that we could do day trips to Philadelphia, Sesame Place in Langhorne, and the Crayola Factory in Easton. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we would definitely stay there again if we return to the area!! |

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting.
We stayed for a couple of weeks with two small boys and had a great time!
There's lots to do locally, plus it's well located to act as a base for visits further afield.
We would strongly recommend it!!

We have stayed in the Buckscottage in October 2005. It is quiet and it is amazing how the animals come close to the house. A nice place to relax. Coming from The Netherlands we enjoyed our stay there. |
