Memorial Weekend, 2008
The house was even better than described on the website. It was cozy yet plenty big enough to accommodate three (3) couples. It was very clean and had all the amenities and comforts of home. We especially enjoyed the bbq grill and picnic tables along with the fully equipped kitchen. Our days were filled with hiking, fishing, and sight-seeing nearby and it was nice to come home to a comfortable bed at night. I highly recommend staying here and we will definately come back next year. |

| Well, here it is November and I find myself still thinking about the wonderful time my family and I had at your lake house in August. The realities of life upon our return home immediatley got in the way of writing to let you know just how much we enjoyed staying in your cozy little home in the hills of WV. The house had everything we needed to cook wonderful meals every night for an extended family of eight! We used the kitchen extensively and due to the wonderful weather, we enjoyed all our meals out on the picnic tables out front on the huge covered porch where we also spent each night talking, playing games and just relaxing. We also had a great time one night out back with a cozy fire and some yummy s'mores! Days were spent out on the beautiful, crystal clear lake (you could see the minnows on the end of your fishing line it's so clear) with our little ski boat. We were pleased there was a marina nearby to keep the boat at one night and plenty of room in the driveway to park it when not at the marina. There was even a closeby boat ramp from which to launch on the last morning for a quick ride before we left for home. My daughter and I had a great time horseback riding thanks to Equestrian Adventures. They have great guides and horses for all types of riders. Again, thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your lake house. We definitely hope to return some time soon! |

| The Lake House was like a home away from home and my family and I enjoyed it very much. Everything you could possibly need is there for you to enjoy your stay. The Summersville Dam is very close by, and it's wonderful to go visit and see the vista. The only downside is the traffic noise from Rt. 129--as a lover of quiet, it was surprising how much traffic was on that road, but after 11 pm, it was great. All in all, don't hesitate to stay there! |

| My friends and I had a fantastic time. We love the lakehouse! Nothing is better than a clean, cozy, and convenient located "home" after rafting for a whole day. The kitchen has everything we need. What makes the lakehouse even more than perfect is its owner Beverly. She is the most considerate and helpful hostess I've ever had. I won't consider any other place when I come back for the Gauley season next year. |

We had a great time in WV and loved your Lake House. It was so clean and everything we needed seemed to be there. The front porch was my favorite place. The hummingbirds came to visit in the morning and afternoon. We also had our meals on the picnic tables so we could all be together. We have always enjoyed WV and have vacationed there numerous time, and Summersville is by far my favorite so far. The lake is just beautiful. The area was so clean and even though there were lots of people - it didn't seem crowded.

| We had a great time at the Lake House. It was very comfortable and very clean. The location is just over the ridge from the lake and there is lots of good hiking nearby. We saw lots of wildlife while walking on the lake levee. It was extremely easy to communicate with the owner and the security deposit was refund promptly. Highly recommended. |

We had a very nice week long vacation at "Our Lake House". We found it to be very comfortable and we can't say enough about how clean it was. We were provided with exceptional service prior to and after our reservation with information on area attractions, restaurants, activities, etc.;and our deposit refund was very prompt. The house is quite convenient to the beach as well as the playground. Our family had a wonderful time rafting, trail riding, fishing, and more! There was plenty of room for all twelve of us including the four grandchildren (ages five, three, 17 months, and one month) who loved dancing with"Buck"! We would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable vacation home!

We spent a long weekend at "Our Lake House." The house
was great! We found it to be well stocked and I loved not having to bring
my linens. Everything we needed was there, from quality kitchen items
to comfy throw blankets to curl up under. Brought a canoe and a ski
boat. The lake is perfect for both with the "No Wake Zones" and so
beautiful. Crystal clear water and gorgeous scenery. We launched at Battle
Run, less than 5 minutes away and the facilities there were excellent
as well.
We had a very relaxing time! Will be recommending this to friends and
family! |

| We had a great weekend family reunion at "Our Lake House". The whole experience was very pleasant, from getting information to make our initial decision, to making the reservation, to special arrangements to meet our unique needs, to getting easy directions, to a wonderful time at the house (with easy access to the lake), to getting a prompt refund of our security deposit. It was great. All 12 of us (including 3 kids aged 7, 9 and 11) had an enjoyable experience. Thank you! |

July 29-Aug. 5, 2006 Stay
We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. The house was in an ideal location, very clean, charming,
and comfortable. In fact, one guest said, "The Lake House is so comfortable I felt more at home
there than I do at my own house." It was as if our every need had been anticipated. We had a lot of
fun with Buck the deer, and it was truly like Christmas in July with the bear and Christmas tree.

| Spent a couple of days here with a group of 8. Very quiet area, very nice house. Spent our evenings on the porch after some White Water Rafting and touring in the area. There was confortable sleeping for all. Would definately stay here again. |
