We spent the second half of August at Les Pleines and had the most wonderful time! The view is breathtaking right from early morning when you might see a hot air balloon drifting across the sky through dusk when the sunset can be magical and into the night when the stars are spectacular. The pool is the best we have ever had with a holiday villa, our children took full advantage of the floats and other pool toys and we loved the fact that it was so safe (no worries about little ones being able to access it) and heated - perfect for night swimming! The house is very well equipped, extremely comfortable and perfect for families with young children. Indeed it was so lovely that we have re-booked for next year, the highest recommendation we can give.

We so enjoyed our stay at Les Plaines. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and property esp. the pool after daytime excursions and the patio for late night dinners. The house was so nicely appointed and the views breathtaking. I also enjoyed working with Beverly and appreciated her prompt follow through as well as her knowledge of the area. Looking forward to our next visit. |

Les Plaines is an oasis of cool, calmness and tranquillity.
It has everything to make a good holiday comfortable, effortless and stress free. The house lies in its own extensive grounds, has total privacy and is not overlooked. It is very spacious, being well designed, and cleverly laid out to make both indoor and outdoor living convenient – even to the extent of having 2 patios to get the best of the weather or for large gathering or for more intimate breakfasts. It. The house is cool when hot outside and yet retains warmth in the coolness of the evenings and nights.. Even the car port gives welcome relief from the often sweltering sun meaning that your car does not “cook”. The view across the Luberon from the main patio is sensational and you will never tire of it. Being on the edge of the village, and hence the hill, means that the house gets welcome breezes across the valley. The living areas are very prettily furnished, roomy with ample seating/lounging areas and if needed have all the things that make evenings go by, like TV, DVD, CD , Ipod and even VHS! If your French is not good, they even provide access to Sky news! The kitchen is a joy to work in and lacks for nothing with good appliances and utensils. It is very classily furnished and easy to use. The bedrooms are all well furnished with comfy beds and the baths and showers all work and have good, quality fittings. The swimming pool is a great size, and the salt water filtration system is a joy. Its location is a gorgeous sun trap and it lies in the lee of the cliff so is sheltered from the breezy mistrals. The local shop 200m from the house is great (has boulangerie, charcuterie and du vin) and is run by very friendly people.
We really cannot say enough good about this house – we were there on our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. Peace, comfort and isolation – just what we wanted and needed! Would we go back there with friends or a group? – yes, without any doubt! And on top of everything, dear Beverley is there to manage the property and to help you when you are not sure.. She welcomed us warmly, answered every dumb question willingly and bade us farewell fondly – what more could we ask for?!

| We just returned last night from a most wonderful week in Provence. Though the lovely weather and location in the midst of fabulous villages certainly helped, the best part of our trip was our house. Last August Beverly started guiding us through the process of choosing a house, reassuring us, and making us very excited. Everything she promised was true, and more. We were six (grandparents, parents and 2 children) and the house accommodated us perfectly. The pool was a huge hit of course as was the well-stocked kitchen, hot showers, comfortable beds, cool and comfortable public rooms and the walking-distance proximity to croissants, pain au chocolat, coffee and our daily Herald Tribune. Our final conversation with Beverly was to talk about returning next year, which is the best testimony we can offer! |

| What an amazing week in Provence. Our mouths dropped open as Beverly, our wonderful host, showed us around the home. The first thing to capture our attention was the spectacular veranda that looked over endless miles of valleys and villages...we have never experienced a better view. The home was perfectly equipped with a gourmet kitchen, huge living room, spectacular dining area (that looked upon the veranda and stunning views)all the bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. The icing on the cake was the amazing private pool which was surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Honestly, this was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed and would highly recommend it. Beverly was wonderful helping us get around the Luberon and providing lots of advice and hints. She was just wonderful. |

What doesn't come across from the pictures, is just so well designed the house and surrounding grounds are. The stone work inside and out is just beautifully done, and inside the marble and tile work fit the home beautifully. Our fellow guests all commented and we agree, that we have never seen a kitchen in a rental house so well equipped. Also the pool site is amazing, so classic, so private, and in its hill side setting among the trees, with as much sun or shade as you might want, just any part of the day. Finally the "great room" added last to the Villa was just perfect for varied pursuits such as dominos, reading, or movie watching. We will also never forget Beverly how you responded when we called you that first night at midnight, for what we thought was a boiler problem --a false alarm as it turned out, but that didn't stop you from delaying a planned short holiday to drive the next morning all the way to Murs to check out the problem.

I can't say enough good things about this house. It was clean, comfortable, peaceful, in a great location, well appointed and a perfect family or group house rental. Nothing cheap or "rental" feeling about it! The view from the house is breathtaking and the beauty of this area of Provence can be taken in at all times of the day from the terrace. We couldn't have been happier with this rental. We've been to a lot of vacation rentals, and this was by far the best. Beverly was so helpful, kind, and responsive to our needs. She was a great resource and made our stay so comfortable! If you're looking for a rental in Provence, look no further. This is it!

| The House is perfectly positioned in the hills with spectacular views towards Rousillon. It is also in an ideal position for day trips to numerous places in the area. The House itself feels very homely, is well kitted out and is obviously very well looked after. Our kids (3 young ones) thoroughly enjoyed themselves there and were particularly pleased to see all the floats that were left pool-side. If you are looking around for a place to rent then look no further, you will not be disappointed. |

| We stayed in this amazing home in May 2008 and it exceeded our expectations on all levels. Clean, modern, private, amazing view, great pool. Full of books and information on things to do, so well maintained and exceptionally managed by Beverly. We did not want to leave. Great area with so many trips to do, or just kick back and hang at the house. Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back! Thanks for everything. |

| Wonderful villa in an amazing location. The villa is exceptionally well equipped and comfortable and the views just incredible. We enjoyed visiting the local markets and some golf st Isle sur la Sorgue. The children both learnt to swim in the pool and the weather was just perfect. Beware of the mosquitoes though - the only downside to a truly superb holiday. |

Dear Beverly,
Here are the house “notes.” Hope you received the pix. I have more!
We all want to thank you for a lovely week. We appreciate the work and wit that you display at a great manageress.
“The four of us loved our week at “Les Plaines.” The house has all of the charm that one expects of Provence, and is indeed, even more alluring than the photographs show. It is a perfect house for 2 couples or a family to share, and it has the advantage of well planned space and terrific views of the countryside. Visits to the surrounding towns are easy trips, and the veranda beckons you home for an atmospheric cocktail or two. It is a very well managed property, welcoming, spotlessly clean and airy. It is a place to come back to again and again.”

| We just returned from staying at this beautiful home in the Luberon area! It was a wonderful, well equipped, beautifully furnished, and strategically located French home! We enjoyed every aspect of the home and its location, as we traveled the countryside and explored the numerous charming French villages. There are fabulous restaurants within walking distance or a short drive and numerous markets to brouse. This is an affordable way to visit France. The heated pool is an added feature. Beverly, the house agent, is particularly helpful and adds special touches! We strongly recommend this home to future guests! |

Hello Beverly, I've just returned home from my trip to Provence and our stay at Les Plaines. It was a completely wonderful experience. The house was fantastic and was the perfect size for the 6 of us. The area around Murs is so incredibly scenic and even the "less than perfect" weather couldn't dampen the experience. Thanks so much for looking after us and I would highly recommend this rental to others. Hopefully we can do this again in the next few years. Cheers Ann Dunsworth

| It is difficult to imagine there being a more perfectly situated or appointed home in the entire Luberon. Easily able to accomodate our party of six adults,'Les Plaines' provided everything we were looking for: a decadent level of comfort, room to spend time on your own,a well equiped kitchen, and a dining room & family room big and comfortable enough to afford endless meals and conversation and finally, ready access to the hill top villages of the Luberon. Our stay, which unfortunately only lasted for a week in mid April, was filled with visits to local markets, sumptuous meals and wine lubricated evenings in front of a roaring fire at the end of each day. 'Les Plaines' only draw back was that we eventually had to leave. |

Beautiful house with gorgeous surrounding countryside and a stunning view of the valley below. We stayed here for 2 weeks in July with 5 adults and 3 small children. The house has lots of toys and is very safe for the kids - all on one level with a locked gate to the pool. We used the pool almost every day - it was such fun for the children! |

| What a wonderful month of June we spent here. As a belated 50th anniversary gift, we treated ourselves to a return trip to Provence and invited our children and teenage grandchildren to join us when the young one's school term ended. They did join us after the first 2 weeks and we were pleased that the house comfortably accommodated 3 families totalling 6 adults, 1 grandson and 2 granddaughters. The house exceeded our expectations; this being our first house rental, we asked myriad questions to which Beverly's responses were complete and prompt. She continued to look after our comfort and needs throughout the month. We enjoyed visiting a different village each morning, attending the marche to buy our fresh food, returning in the late afternoon for a swim in the luxurious pool and cooking (mostly barbecuing)our dinners (replete with Rose wine)on the magnificent terrace with views usually reserved for paintings. The house was well situated away from the "madding crowds" of tourists but within easy reach of everyplace we wished to visit. We ranged north to Vaison-la-Romaine and south to the Camargue and east to Vence returning each day to the peaceful sanctuary of the most comfortable house in order to unwind before the next day's adventures. Although we found Provence to be much more crowded and commercial ("touristy") then our experiences 20 years earlier, the people were just as friendly, the sights just as breathtaking, and the smaller hilltop villages as charming and exciting as we recalled. Truly a wonderful house which contributed greatly to a wonderful experience. |

| This is an amazing house. It has the most spectacular view of the Luberon Valley. In fact, it is a view that you cannot find other than at this house. The house is perfectly designed to take advantage of this incredible feature. I have rented successfully from VRBO in three different countries, and nothing has come close to Les Plaines. The house itself is spacious, very well decorated and has nearly evertying you could possibly need. The kitchen has every appliance, pot and utensil to satisfy true cooks. We loved most travelling to the local village markets, purchasing incredibly fresh food, and cooking wonderful dinners. There are even a whole series of French and Gourmet cookbooks. Eating out on the stone deck area with the most spectacular view of the Luberon Valley is a memory we will all cherish. We loved the pool. It is a great size, includes pool toys for the kids, and has lovely landscaping creating a very natural feel. The kids and the adults spent our afternoons swimming after travelling to nearby villages. The house is centrally located to make day trips to all nearby villages easy and convenient. Several in our group were bikers and they found the location ideal for biking to nearby sites during the day. Murs itself is small, but the little grocery store is a short walk from the house and they have many staples, including great baguettes. They also sell pizzas for a quick meal. We didn't make it to the restaurant in Murs, but the guest book at the house had many favorable reviews. Beverly is incredibly helpful and responive to any question. We travelled in Europe for 3 weeks and our week at the house was the highlight. |

For those of you out there trying to decide if Les Plaines is the house for you, wait no more. We stayed there the last week in April, 2007, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the house. We were 3 couples, and the house gave each of us total privacy when we wanted it, and an outstanding place to spend time all together. We each had a full bath of our own, which was a big plus. The furnishings of the house are far nicer than one would ordinarily find in a rental property, giving the house a very warm, loved and welcoming feel and incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are all modern as well as the kitchen. The pantry was even stocked with some basic things like coffee, teas, sugar, pastas, some canned goods, spices, etc. It was also nice to have both a washing machine and a dryer to use. I recommend asking Beverly for instructions for use if you're not accostomed to using French appliances. As for the location, I was concerned that it was a little far from the things I knew we'd want to go see, however, that wasn't the case at all. We made day trips to all of the major sites in Provence including Avignon (the farthest away and still only took an hour), St. Remy, Les Baux, Gordes, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Isle-sur-Sorgue, Abbye de Sennanque and others. The pool is just lovely, and heated. Unfortunately, we never used it, only because we were always gone during the day, and by the time we got back in the evenings, it was either a just bit too cool or we were just too tired. If we had been there long enough, we would have enjoyed it immensely. By far, the most appealing thing about the property is the stunning view from the back. The entire Luberon valley is spread like the wings of an angel across the back terrace. In the evenings you can see the nearby towns light up like little Christmas trees, and in the mornings, hot air balloons lifting off from the floor of the valley below. Be sure to ask Beverly for directions to the nearby winery, Domaine la Tuilière and have a degustation with Lionel. He speaks no English, but you won't need it to taste his amazing wines. Then take a few bottles back to the house and enjoy them on the terrace as the sun sets over the Luberon. It's unforgettable. The town of Murs itself is itsy-bitsy. There is only one restaurant, which we never made it to, and the only boulangerie is in an abandoned gas station (or at least they didn't have gas the day we tried to buy some), but they did have fabulous baguettes and croissants. So, if you have any doubts whatsoever about staying at Les Planes, put them away with your old francs and make your reservation. You won't regret it. |

| We just got back from a great week at Les Plaines and would return in a heartbeat. The house is the perfect Provencal retreat -- cozy, comfortable, with stupendous views, we had a hard time tearing ourselves away to get out and see the fabulous sights. Thanks to unseasonably warm temps, we took full advantage of the great pool. The nearby village of Murs is just a short walk away and Gordes, one of the loveliest spots in France, is 10 minutes by car. Loved the markets, the people and the gorgeous Luberon countryside. Kudos to Beverly for making us welcome and at home at Les Plaines. We heartily recommend this property. The Peterson, Hingham, MA. |
