it was most enjoyable in so many waysbut especially the view from the top floor window and the charmingway that you have it decorated, it way surpassed all our expectations.
I have mailed you several pictures we took whilst there, you should reciev them in a few days.

Hi Sue,
I really wanted you to know that we loved Les Arc and the fact that our whole holiday centred around that fantastic house. My 12 year old Son will especially have great memories of the festival, the place really goes back in time.
Les Arc is such a great base for traveling Provence, (and the roads and the driving is no worse than anywhere else!) Cannes, St Tropez, Monte Carlo are a mere stone throws away, and the many local wineries produce some of the best Wine in the world. Hope to return sometime. A glass or two of wine in the Lounge watching the Fireworks of Bastille day will also linger with us. Good luck Sue. |

Sue,
Just a quick email to say thank you so very much for the use of your fantastic house in Les Arcs. We had quite an eventful trip there which included an emergency landing and a 8 hour delay in Paris Orly Airport due to a fire in the cockpit of our plane ....... Once we got there though it was just what the Doctor ordered.
We did quite a lot of exploring along the coast all the way from Monaco to St Tropez and a little bit further. The weather was very kind to us and we are all looking a bit more tanned and healthy .... The UK summer is not quite the same as in the South of France.
My parents are in Scotland at the moment and will be returning to South Africa on Saturday. It was great spending time with them in such a beautiful location, I am sure we will be back !!

PS If there is anything we negated to do when leaving please let me know, we left in quite a hurry at 5am for a 8am flight that only departed at 13:00, don't you just love BA!!
PPS There is a pink lilo in the bottom bedrooms toilet ..... We don't have much use for it in London (surfing on the Thames not allowed) so we left it there for you and your future guests

Thank you so much!
This was my first visit to France and I was very impressed. Both with France, and with your charming house. The little details (such as having lots of flyers and books about the area, previous guests sharing on delightful eating and most interesting sights, english videos, TV, books) were wonderful touches. I will be back, God willing, as soon as I can.

pps How did you put your furniture in your house?

We arrived back home last week after a very fine stay in Les Arcs, Cinque Terre, Florence and Venice. We were ever so pleased to arrive at our lodgings in Les Arcs and can't thank you enough for maintaining such wonderful accomodations. It rained most of the time we were there so we were especially grateful for the view of the misty hillsides from the cosy top room. We had a great time and want you to know how very much we appreciate the delightful dwelling, corresponding with you, and your kindness in putting our arrangements on hold for 3 years. We were happy to at last spend that vacation with our friends from Los Angeles --and pretty tickled to amaze them with our choice of lodging.
Our friend Roy used his computer at the house. He assumes that no Internet connection charge will come via your phone bill, but please let us know if there somehow does turn out to be an Internet hookup charge on it.
We debated whether to leave the key or mail it, so I ended up mailing it to you from the States yesterday, April 29. Many thanks for everything.

Dear Sue,
We found the lower village and you house without any great problems
We where impressed from the first moment at the location and the standard of accomodation.
The first night July 7th started with a commotion and we where pleasantly surprised to find that Knights on horseback outside the house.
We discovered that we had arrrived on the 2nd day of the medieval pageant
During the week we toured surounding villages and whent on the obligatory tourist trip to St Tropez, plus we where able to relax at our owm convenience.
On the thurday we had a note on the car windscreen saying that we could not park there, the gendarme explained that there would be a big boom !!at 10 30 the sky show started!!, a fitting grande finale to a wonderful week at your house,
