| Mahalo Phil and Lisa! We just returned from our Hawaiian vacation, and staying at the Hale Honu was definitely our highlight! We stayed 3 nights in Waikiki, and coming over to North Shore for 4 nghts was a little piece of paradise. I enjoy all the areas of Oahu, but there is something so tranquil about falling asleep and waking to the sound of ocean waves. Punalu'u is a quiet town and just what we needed for relaxation. The photos shown capture exactly what the house is! We enjoyed using the numerous ammenities: well-equipped kitchen for making dinners, boogie boards, hot tub, washer & dryer (especially nice while on a week's vacation!), board games, snorkel gear, kayak and the lounge chairs on the deck for staring out into the ocean just steps away! We were in the "country" but so close to many things. We toured Kualoa Ranch ( a must see!), and visitied Haleiwa and Turtle Bay resort - all just as short drive away. Thank you again for your clean and beautiful home! We will be coming back to stay again!! MAHALO! |

| This was an amazing home to rent. It was just myself and friend who stayed here but there is easily room for 8-10. The house is conveniently located in between the north shore and Honolulu. The house was perfect, and had everything, and I mean everything. All the comforts of home, and even more. The extras you get with this place are incredible, here is just a few; beach mats, coolers, a welcome basket upon arrival and even a washing machine and detergent, not to mention great owners and excellent communication from day one. Thank you Phil and Lisa for making this property available for such a memorable time." |

| We ended our three week trip to Oahu and the Big Island by staying at Hale Honu. It was great!! The location is wonderful and the view can't be beat! It was great to have comfortable chairs to relax and see the ocean, plenty of boogie boards and other supplies. I would highly recommend this rental and hope to be able to return in the future. |

| We discovered a side of Oahu we did not know existed- the quiet one! There cannot be many properties like Hale Honu in the entire Hawaiian chain; a private home, only steps from the water. The house is very clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need from boogie boards to a blender to stacks of towels. Having just returned, we can attest that the photos and description of this property are thorough and accurate. Still, they cannot capture the relaxing atmosphere or do justice to the beautiful setting. Our next trip to Oahu will be planned around the availability of this delightful beach house. |

| What a view! Your home was great and we truly felt like it was "our home away from home". The use of the kayak was an added bonus. From the full moon rising over the ocean on our first night, to the beautiful rainbow over the mountain on our last day, we couldn't have had a better vacation. |

| A wonderful time was had by our family and lots of beautiful memories made during our weekend stay. Hale Honu was our (home away from home)- very open, spacious set up, yet very cozy and secure. With all the amenties provided and not to mention the convenience of having a country store with just about everything you could think of being just a short walk away-we basically had everything we needed. There was so much to do...Some of us just relaxed, surrounded by such beauty of both the Ocean and mountain views. And some of us took advantage of snorkeling right in front of the property. The Kids loved the private beach and being able to either go swimming/kayaking or hang out and play basketball. Also having the options of just watching some movies on the DVD player or spending time playing family board games (provided for us by the owner)was also great. Thanks for having all the extras for us!!! What more could we ask for!!! We would definitely stay there again...and have already recommended this place to other family members and friends. Thanks again for providing a perfect place for our family...we'll cherish the memories of the perfect beach house weekend that we had and are making plans to stay there again! |
