Mike and Arline,
Thank you very much for the opportunity to stay at your villa. Of course
one week was not enough. Your villa was by far the best kitted out of any we
have ever stayed at; it is a refreshing change to have ready access to the
small things that make a difference such as cloths, washing up liquid,
laundry detergent,cool boxes,salt, tea bags etc.,etc. Of course we had
brought some with us and left for next guests. Equipment and utensils were
plentiful.
I noted your request to use the fishing rods for freshwater. As such we
bought a rod to use at the piers (Rod and Reel and one near) on Anna Maria
Island. It was a bite with every cast by using the frozen shrimp bought on
the pier as bait, I would recommend this to any of your guests as a bit of
fun. I have left the rod in your garage and if any guests wish to go fishing
off the piers they can use it rather than your fresh water rods; it is the
red rod.
Thanks for a great time and hopefully we will return in the not too distant
future (for at least two weeks!)

Wow, where do I start..... we have been to Florida seven times and have stayed at various villas at different locations.. your beautiful villa was clearly the best we have used. The location was perfect for wonderful drives over the Skyway Bridge to lots of gorgeous beaches, and all the other attractions. The local restaurants were great and we loved Ellenton. The local guide you have at the villa was really helpful. You have clearly spent a lot of time and consideration for your guests needs and I cannot think of anything that you missed. Your attention to detail was great and we relaxed into the villa very quickly without having to rush out to the shops.
Thank you for returning our deposit so quickly. Usually after our holidays we start to think about where we want to go next... but we all came back and decided that we would love to return to your villa. We would have no hesitation in recommending your villa to family and friends and hope to book with you again very soon.
Thank you both for the friendly, yet professional way in which you handled our booking. I hope you both have many great holidays in your lovely villa and continued success with rentals. Please feel free to use all or part of this in your guest comments.

Just returned home and wanted to say what a lovely time we had in your wonderful home. It exceeded all our expectations and we really did not want to leave it behind. A week just wasn't long enough and we hope to return for longer next time.

Your house in Florida is really beautiful. We landed on our feet. Its location looking out over the lake is spectacular and being able to watch the lovely sunsets was a real pleasure. The neighbourhood is quiet which was just what we were looking for - no early morning or late evening noise. The decor and furnishings are very comfortable - we loved the ice maker - it was used a lot. To be honest anything we went looking like an iron, hairdryer (my daughter not me) - everything was there. We were delighted to find you had a BBQ and spent many a pleasant evening eating out doors and enjoying the scenery.
I must admit we were quite lazy while there. We only went to the beach a couple of times as the children preferred your pool. My youngest soon was like a fish - he spent many a happy hour swimming lengths and diving to the bottom. The table tennis table was used a fair bit too - it is a great asset.
Your location is excellent - it was easy to find, following your directions and is in a lovely neighbourhood. We travelled up to Tampa a few times - the journey isn't far and the roads and signposts are excellent. We visited Citrus Mall and went to a baseball game in Tropicana Fields. Both were easily accessible from your house - only a relative short spin.
The information you already have on file is very useful - we used it a lot.
Our faviourite meals out would have been in Gio's and Outback Steakhouse. We found another really good restaurant too - called Acapulco. They serve Mexican food which is really good. It is down off the 64 (similar to going to Outback) however instead of heading right when you come off the interstate you turn left - it is down about a five minute drive on the right hand side in a big shopping mall which has a Publix in it too. I believe they sometimes have live music there but it wasn't on the night we went.
Your accessibility to Ellenton Outlet was great - when I needed some time out to myself I used to go there on my own and wander about - sometimes window shopping - more often than not purchasing!
Johnny (husband) and Alan (youngest) played golf on the course just down the road from you. They must have enjoyed it as they went back several times.
All in all we had a great time and are sorry to be home. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending your house to anyone.

Dear Mike and Arline,
We loved your villa! It is spacious and roomy and we found it tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and very easy to cook in.
We loved the location. The access to the interstate made traveling and sightseeing very easy.
Our favorite restaurant was Gio's Pizza. The pizza was delicious and we enjoyed martini's while the children enjoyed the ice cream! I would also recommend Kojak's in Palmetto, for a home cooked style meal. Their smoked chicken was delicious.
The view is fabulous and the birds and wildlife kept us entertained. Especially the bunny that was nestled under the bushes. We were humored by the fact that we were the one's in the cage (swimming pool cage) and the bunny was looking in at us!
I look forward to renting your villa again in the future.

Hello Mike and Arline.
We arrived back home yesterday night.
It was a wonderful vacation and we loved the house. It is sooo beautiful there. The first thing I did in the morning was to get up and take a look over the pool and the lake. I felt so great when doing this. It is such a beautiful peaceful location.
We enjoyed watching the waterbirds and reading up on them in the book on the coffee table.
I did not want to leave, I felt so much at home. You have such a wonderful well cared for home. Everything you need is provided.
I could live there forever. My husband and I cannot wait till we come back next Thanksgiving.

Hi Mike and Arline,
Well, we are home again. The weather was just perfect. 88 degrees and very low humidity. We have been met with rain, fog and grey skies here and it made us realise what a beautiful climate it is in Florida in October.
The house was perfect. The pool was always in the sun as you said it would be. So relaxing and the location on the lake meant that we always had a light breeze so it was really comfortable even when really hot. The birds around the lake were spectacular.
We played golf at Imperial Lakewoods and Buffalo. We are keen golfers and these are both fantastic courses. At Buffalo, we saw two 'gaters close up - very exciting!
We found a fantastic beach on the South end of Anna Maria Island and only realised it was the same one that you recommend in your booklet when we got home. Truly beautiful and deserted. We had dolphins swimming very close to us. How amazing! We also thought the public beach on Siesta Key was lovely. For anyone wishing to dream, a drive on Casey Key is worthwhile.

Corinos (Mulligans Plaza, St Pete Beach) - this is a must on a Thurs, Fri or Sat night when Katie is at the piano - she is just the best entertainment in the Tampa area and will play almost any request. Food is fab!

We would definitely recommend to friends and consider staying again.
