"Our group of seven stayed at the Shady Palms in August 2007. The condo
was reasonably priced, well appointed, and was spotless. It definitely
could handle a group of our size. The location along the river and
across the street from the beach could not be better. I have no
hesitation in recommending the Shady Palms."

| We have stayed at the Wind Drift for several years and each year we have a wonderful time. This year was no different. The owners were very nice to work out a time for us and called us after check-in to make sure everything was in order. That has never happened! This is the place you will want to spend your vacation. |

This is a beautifully decorated condo with an exceptional view of Old River & Ono Island from the north facing balcony, with pelicans, gulls & dolphins appearing daily. From the south facing balcony you can view the Gulf.....easy access to the Gulf at a traffic light. A relatively quiet condo & uncrowded area of the beach as well.
We would definitely reserve this condo again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time at the beach. We would most certainly choose this location over the much larger high rise condos in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area.
We have 3 children....15, 13 & 9 and they loved this place. The boys loved fishing from the pier! It was very comfortable and roomy for our family of 5. The two full size beds in the 2nd bedroom and the sleeper sofa gave the kids all their own bed to sleep in. They loved that!
The kitchen was very well equipped and the appliances appeared to be very new and top of the line.
