Parrot Hale was the perfect place to enjoy our vacation. Very quiet and well kept. It was wonderful to fall asleep to the coqui frogs in the distance and wake up to the cooing sounds of the morning doves and other birds. Great place to kick back, relax and enjoy our morning coffee on the lanai off the master bedroom. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home in paradise.

We stayed at Parrot Hale for four nights over Thanksgiving of this year (2006). It was a touch tricky to find the address, as it is posted on a tree and not lit, but we were able to find the property with only one wrong turn. The directions that were sent to me were very helpful. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the rental was exactly as it is advertised to be -- pictures are very accurate! It was clean and comfortable. The only problem which we experienced was that two of the days that we were there, the hot water did not work. We called the number on the fridge and the problem was fixed promptly both times. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this property again if in Hilo.
