This is a wonderful place to stay in NYC, the location is absolutely wonderful just in front of central park, you go downstairs and there it is. It is inside a great hotel which is the Essex House and the apartment is in wonderful condition. Plenty of room and a wonderful kitchen. You will feel at home. This is our second time staying here and it is like our home away from home. You also have all the services of a hotel in case you need anything and that is also great about it |

This Central Park South apartment will make your New York City stay much more enjoyable. We were there for seven days in June 2009. The bedroom and living room were very comfortable and roomy. We gained a new perspective on its spaciousness when friends who live in Manhattan visited us and were impressed by the expansive and complete new kitchen. The kitchen made our stay so much more relaxing by being able to have breakfast and often lunch in a quiet environment. Food stores are nearby, so quick meals were easy. The apartment is conveniently located for everything. For us, it was within easy walking distance of Lincoln Center, the theatre district and the Metropolitan Museum. There also were subway stations nearby, but we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. A special unusual benefit was access to the Essex House’s steam rooms and saunas, and they are free. We certainly hope the apartment will be available when we visit New York next year.

| We stayed at the apartment last October for the first time. It is in a fantastic location in the Essex House Hotel opposite Central Park. Overall the apartment is wonderful. Lots of space and very comfortable with every convenience, unlike many Manhattan apartments. It even has a king size bed! The apartment has a city view with huge windows. You can see Carnegie Hall from here! If you want a central location just minutes from Lincoln Centre and conveniences like Whole Foods, I would highly recommend this apartment. We have already booked for later this year. |

Happily spent a week in this comfortable, well maintained unit overlooking Manhattan from the 31st floor. Unbeatable location steps to restaurants, transportation and Central Park. Unit has ample sitting area with full cable and daily NYT while internet is available via hotel along with concierge service. Accessible owner is easy to work with. Highly recommended. |

| Stayed Sept15-22-08 having stayed at the Essex house before I am familiar with the hotel so feel my review is accurate. The bad things are that the tub is a bit grungy and needs replacing, the sofa is a tad wore. that it. NOW the good! huge by NY standards, wooden floors meaning no dirty carpets. Sparkling clean bedding and towels, brand new clean appliances in kitchen, loads of windows, that open! 31st floor. but quiet at night. excellent working air con and heat. Lots of plug ins for accessories. Lots of good lighting. Super comfy bed.Great view down to 59th and over town, gracious hotel staff front on Central park and back entry onto street with handy deli/market 1/2 block. Contact with owners get prompt response and all monies accounted for, prompt return of damage deposit. Welcome notes sent are handy. Location is fab, horse drawn carriages across street. would I recommend this, most certainly. would I stay again,I would and will. Its got it all. |
