Had a ball. Overcast but warm. Thanks for the bread and supplies - great after a flight. Fantastic apartment and fab location. Kids loved the games. Good takeaway around the corner and really close to town. Went up to Lochness with Scotline Travel. They were great. Fabulous to eat breakfast in the bay windows looking at the locals. Everything we needed was here. Will recommend to our friends.

Rona - your "Uppr Villa" is absolutely gorgeous and perfect location. Thanks for the warm welcome and you're so thoughtful with the food available after a long flight. The childre all felt so at home. The entire City of Edinburgh is beautiful and easy to walk. Scot Rail allowed us to travel everywhere!

| We had a great stay in this spacious accomodation, lots of room for 8 adults. Modernly updated while still maintaining lots of the old character. Good restaurants, bars and shopping in the area and the city centre is a pleasant 15 minute walk away. Would definately recommend this location. |

We just arrived back home in Mexico from Paris last night.
I'd like to tell you how lovely our stay in your upper villa was. Everyone in the group was more than impressed with the quality of the accomodations!! We had a real good time and enjoyed very much being able to go rest at such a ´homey´ apartment. Having a PC is a huge plus too, everyone used it many times. The drawing room view is unique and we enjoyed the little shops in the road below. The old town is picture beautiful also.

| This apartment is lovely, spacious, and comfortable. All the 4 ladies in our book group agreed this was a great location for us to attend the Fringe events and particularly the Book Fair that takes place in Charlotte Square. In our August 2006 stay,we so appreciated having a PC in the apartment so that we could easily book on-line and communicate with home. We had great fun exploring the interesting surrounding streets, many lovely gardens, as well as the shops and restaurants of Stockbridge. The furnishings are very comfortable for lounging around after a hard day of touring. Best of all was our gracious and charming hostess, Rona, who lives downstairs and who cheerfully stepped in to give advice and assistance way beyond what one normally expects in a short term rental. We highly recommend the Upper Villa. |

| This very cute apartment comfortably accomodated our party of six (3 adults and 3 teenagers). The rooms were smartly decorated, appliances are modern and we felt the layout was just right. We were able to get groceries nearby and also enjoyed eating out our first night. The owners were very gracious and friendly. We highly recommend this place and it will be our choice of stay when we return to Edinburgh. |
