Hi Bob & Heather,
We just arrived back from our vacation
at Halfmoon Bay.
Our family enjoyed your home so much!
It is so peaceful and relaxing. We
never tired of the view! My mother was
able to come and visit for a couple
of days and my sister was also able to
make it for a couple of days so we
enjoyed some fantastic dinners ocean
side! Having the ocean right at your
door, with the surrounding rock
islands, feels like your own private
salt
water pool. We also enjoyed some hikes
around Sargaent's Bay and Triangle
Lake. A bear scared us out of the
Trout Lake hike. It was never ending
enjoyment until we had to leave.
I'm not sure when you are taking
reservations for next year but we would
be
interested in staying at the Sanctuary
again next year. Maybe you could let
me know.
I hope you get to enjoy your beautiful
Halfmoon Bay home.

| This is a wonderful house in a fantastic location. It is very well equipped and we all had a great week here. We did have a few unfortunate problems with some of the appliances but importantly Bob, Heather and Ursula got them sorted very quickly. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back. |

Hi Bob,
I just wanted to follow up on our stay
in your house. This was
fantastic! Thank you very much for
letting us enjoy our stay.
House is
great, we figured that we were the
first ones there, since
everything is
totally brand new. We tried to keep
everything as it was when we came
in and left everything clean,
hopefully. Overall, the weather was
great, the house is absolutely amazing
the location is unbeatable, and
we are definitely staying there again
for any special occasion :)

We are proud to own and share this wonderful property
with you.
The previous owner built the house 15 years ago. He was
one of the original members of the Sargeant Bay Society which
was formed to maintain the natural flora and fauna of this
special wildlife preserve. Check out the sargbay web site.
If you look closely at the center of the picture on
their home page you will actually see our house.
We hope to carry on his stewardship of the area.
The natural beauty, numerous activites and wonderful climate of the
Sunshine coast are well documented and easy to find on
various travel websites so I don't have to go into these.
It is still a relatively unknown destination - very
tranquil and peaceful and unspoiled yet only a short drive
and ferry trip from the action in Vancouver, Whistler, and
Vancouver Island.
Our property is ideally situated midway between Gibsons (the ferry, Molly's Reach, and beautiful Howe Sound) and the spectacular inlets and sheltered coves of Pender Harbour. We are within easy boating distance of 4 magnificent Marine Parks and numerous Provincial Parks.
We were struck by the peacefulness and privacy of this
place. How relaxing it was for us and how comfortable and
protected wildlife were, here and at the game preserve close
by at Sargeant Bay.
A safe haven, a sacred shelter, a quiet
refuge, a restful retreat.
A Sanctuary.
