| We have stayed at the Shimer House a few times for a long weekend and are staying for a week this summer. This is an incredible home right on the top of the mountain. It is very clean, well maintained and so serene. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. Don't pass up an opportunity to stay here. You'll want to come back again and again. |

This is a gorgeous place. The pictures don't do it
justice. It has a lovely feel and incredible view. Highly
recommend it. |

The Shimer House was absolutely the most beautiful
vacation house we have ever stayed in. We stayed on
the back porch most of the time because of the view
overlooking the mountains! I even used that porch as
the setting to propose to my now fiancee! I look
forward to staying at the house again real soon!!!!! |
