What a beautiful place you have! The view is absolutely gorgeous and the
home was very clean. We really did enjoy our stay and out only regret is that
we couldn't stay longer. You did an amazing job thinking of every detail. Your
place is extremely cozy and is a place we want to visit again with our families.
We enjoyed cooking, relaxing, and taking walks in the beautiful area. We

We had a perfect stay! The cottage is absolutely beautiful and had everything
we needed! The weather even cooperated for September!! The lake is crystal
clear and the stars are endless.! We have been coming to this lake for over 35
years and it beauty hasn't changed. This is the best and most beautiful
cottage we've stayed in. You certainly thought of everything. It really was like
a second honeymoon for us. Thank you for letting us "decompress" and get
back to nature. You have been very gracious.

Perfect weather & the perfect cabin! The peacefulness & seclusion were exactly
what we were looking for, and needed! The dogs had a great time swimming. We
actualy wore them out, which is hard to do with a Jack Russell Terrier. Many

We had a wonderful week with Michigan weather being on our side the whle
time. The cottage has been a perfect get-away and everything we were hoping
for. We also went hiking at Hartwick Pines State Park and canoeing down the

The first word that comes to mind is, "Wow!" We had a wonderful, beautiful, relaxing week. We so enjoyed being in the cottage for the week. Part of the joy was the necessary amenities you provided -- spices in the kitchen, Kleenex, plastic bags, press wrap. Those small things have never been supplied in any house we've occupied before. Thank you for a wonderful weekend get-away! Although it was cool in Sept. for
swimming, the dogs didn't mind a bit. The lake is just beautiful and the water so
clear. We found a great litle place for breakfast in Kalkaska caled: "Trout Town
Country Cafe". It has been a very nice break from the work week. We hope to
come back again soon.

Your cabin provided a great escape into the warm embraces of Mother Nature. We saw loons, mallards, heron, kingfisher, downy woodpeckers,
chickadee, gull, crow, bald eagle, hummingbirds, black vultures, gold finches,
sapsuckers and more. Your proximity to Traverse City afforded a lovely day
trip. We could have easily spent another week exploring the area but, alas,
had to return to the throws of the city.
To those that follow us: we highly recommend a trip over to Hartwick Pines,
just off north M93!

The lake is so beautiful and your accommodations were so great! We've been
vacationing at this lake for 18 years and now that we live in Wisconsin we're
still willing to return. I'm ad we found your place on-line. We have only one
complaint - the weather wouldn't cooperate! Oh well, we had a few trips to
traverse City to entertain us. It was a bit cool but being from Michigan
originally, we know that this can happen even in July! Thanks again for

| What a great place to spend a few days of rest, relaxation, and quality family time. This cozy, clean, and comfortable home offered our family of six plenty of room to enjoy each other's company or to take quiet, restful naps without being disturbed. The snowmobile trailheads are very close by, which made it so easy to take turns using our two snowmobiles. You should have seen everyone laugh as Mom and Dad played a game of Twister with the kids (you know, flexibility wanes with age)!! Is it possible to bottle the wonderful memories that were created in this home during the long weekend that we stayed here? Thank you so much!! |
