I stayed at Quarters North in late May, early June, for nearly two weeks while being in town on business and I LOVED it. What a wonderful change from a hotel room. The managers go out of their way to make your stay as comforable as you want it. They take out garbage, deliver breakfast, anything. You can walk past the pool to the little store and just past there is a restaurant with outside eating on a deck overlooking the marina. I also met some wonderful neighbors while staying there. Everyone seems so relaxed and happy. I would highly recommend these properties and plan on staying there again when back in New Bern!!

Thank you also for waiting up for me that first night I was here. You made me feel very welcome and at ease. You even provided me with a toothbrush & toothpaste because the airline had "misplaced" my bags.
I thought it especially kind & caring of you, Peg, when you had called me the next day to check on me & to see if I had indeed gotten my luggage back. No hotel I have ever stayed at before would ever do such a nice thing. I really appreciated that.
You made my stay here very comfortable & safe. Even my Marine son thought the room was very cool.
So, I thank you both for everything you provided while I was here in NC. Perhaps if I come back again to NC-I will be sure to stay here again!

We came to attend our cousin's wedding and while most family and friends stayed in New Bern at the Sheraton or Comfort Suites, I am so glad we had a dog in our party and stayed at your wonderul condo. It's more than like home 'cause ya'll took such good care of us! So peaceful and quiet compared to the crowds and construction across the rivers. Every evening after returning from wedding activities, we all commented on the great find. My kind of place! We'll just have to return to enjoy all the activities right here, and never leave the property. Plus, being a previous sailboat owner, I enjoyed the marina and boats and remembering the good times I had sailing for 10 years. I loved driving into historic New Bern and walking the town & returning to the neighborhood of water and boats. Such variety for an artist. Guest Quarters East has been a haven for our family where we found the energy to care for and say good bye to Pa Paw. Kindness flows from Peg and Harold like a warm breeze off the ocean.
There's some of the magic of the sea in the retreat they have created here. Settle in and you'll feel like you've stepped outside the worries of daily life. Slow down and you'll find time with family and time for yourself all over again.
The call of sunrise on the Neuse River and the sound of our son's laughter. These things we'll carry with us until we return. Thank you.

Your internet advertising paints a beautiful picture of what it would be like to stay at 'Broad Creek'. Sure enough, it is everything it says it will be.
The two of you are incredibly generous and caring "hosts". Our stay has been delightful from the moment we arrived, we have felt "special" thanks to the two of you. To walk in and relax with wine/sparkling, cheese & fruit after traveling all day just makes you feel so welcome. Simon & Cooper(our guest's dogs)cannot thank you enough for their special care-it gave us time to really explore & do the research we came here for.
