We really enjoyed our Ladies Weekend at Tara House. The living area is beautiful and comfortable for a group. The kitchen is a cooks dream! The outdoor space, yard, lake, decks, and hot tub were perfect for our warm spring weekend. The owner was pleasant and accomodating to deal with and I would highly reccomend this rental. Thank you!

Tara House was a beautiful getaway for my group. From the wonderful kitchen, entertaining game room, five bedrooms, and expansive living room, Tara House is an excellent place for large groups. The house we very well maintained, cleaned, and decorated. We enjoyed all this house had to offer and cannot recommend the house highly enough!

I stayed at the Tara house with a group of 7 guys for a bachelor party weekend. The house was all that it claims to be and more. We planned on being outside on the lake and deck most of the time, however, the back up plan for rain was to be able to be inside the house and comfortable. When it did rain, we were not disappointed as the house is spacious. The game room is the best room I have ever played ping pong in, great lighting and table placement. If you were in a room upstairs, you could hardly even hear the guests downstairs, I would imagine people with kids would appreciate this. Hot tub was great. House was clean, and every thing functioned as it should. Kitchen and outdoor grill are excellent. In fact, we only left the house to go food shopping. We booked Tara house because it included use of the pontoon boat. If you are interested in fishing, or even swimming in the lake, you need the boat to get out to the main part of the lake, as the house sits on an inlet that tends to get very murky and overgrown with weeds. The boat runs, but we were not as confident in using it to take us too far, as it frequently was difficult to start, and one of the guys we were with knows what he is doing( he owns a boat), so it wasn't just a lack of experience on our part. That said, for the price of the rental including a boat, this place rocks!!!! We couldn't have found a better deal. Highly recommended. |

A group of girlfriends and I stayed at Tara House in February. It's a perfect house for a group gathering. The open kitchen and large dining room table are great for cooking and eating. The house was in great shape and a great size! (We especially loved all the bathrooms!) The property and lake are beautiful. We will definitely try to stay at this house again. Thanks!

This home is huge and clean and right on the the northeast finger of Greenwood Lake. The home has everything you need for a great vacation. The kitchen was to die for. It has a full size stainless freezer, full stainless refrig, granite topped center island and counter tops, an oversized stainless oven and a great view of the lake. The owner was a wealth of information and we can't wait for our next visit.
