We had a wonderful week staying in the Beach Bungalow as our first trip in Maine and first family trip. It was great to come back to such a lovely place after our "discovery days". The girls felt reassured (even being away from home) but having the chance to stay in this cozy, clean and comfortable home was great. We couldn't have dreamed of more!

Thanks you so much for a lovely, spacious Beach Bungalow. My husband and I were so pleased when we arrived, we could hardly stand it! Since I was born, raised, and still live in Nashville, TN, my first visit to coastal Maine was made all the better with such fine accommodations. Thanks for all the little extra touches...if I didn't know, I'd surely think you are a Southern Lady! Guess what? You don't have to be from the South to be one of those! So come on down.

Georgeous place!
It rained a bit while we were here and that cannot be helped. My husband commented that thank goodness we were here in the lovely Beach Bungalow where there is some breathing space. Otherwise, with 2 kids in tow, we would've gone goofy if we were in a smaller place.

My sister Cheryl and I had a wonderful "girls" weekend. What a treasure the "Beach Bungalow" is! Thank you for having everything we needed.
We would not really recommend Myst-the food was nothing to brag about but the service was good. We would recommend picking up a pound of loster meat from Bayley's Lobster Pound. Also, the Maine crab with the mustard dip - what a great little lunch that was!

We can't believe this week is over. We really enjoyed all of our day trips, but especially enjoyed being able to come back to a clean & comfortable place. We really felt at home here.
There were many highlights in our trip but the most memorable was being able to see the full moon (15th) come up over the ocean. Thank you so much for coming to take our picture. We hope to see you either here or in Florence, AZ at our VRBO in the future.

| What a great beachhouse! We have to young children and this was the perfect place. Lori has thought of every detail right down to outlet plugs to keep little fingers out. Now what hotel will do that?! The house was spotless. It was like being at home. We were so sad to leave. Lori was always there to guide us in the right direction but was never nosey or prying. We would recommend this place to anyone. I hope to come back next year! |

We had a wonderful stay at Lori's Beach Bungalow. The condo is very spacious, bright, clean and nicely decorated in a summer beach house style. There's even a large kitchen for cooking fresh fish and a grill outside for barbecues.
The long seven mile beach is just across the street but you can also enjoy Lori's beautiful flower gardens in the front yard from your patio chair.
Lori is also very warm, personable and a great resource for where to shop and find things in the area.
We highly recommend this property for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Maine. We hope to be back again soon. Thanks Lori!

What a find! My wife and I are VRBO veterans and have enjoyed staying at some great condo rentals from Key West to Kauai. Lori’s Beach Bungalow was the best yet. The Bungalow is conveniently located across the street from 7 miles of pristine sandy beach, which lent itself to sunning, swimming and easy access to other activities like walking, biking, kayaking, fishing and golf. The unit itself was absolutely immaculate and the furnishings and interior décor are sure to put you in the mood for a relaxing beach vacation…open and airy, with a great porch for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening cocktail or glass of wine. Just down the street, you can get the crew at Bayley’s to prepare lobsters and steamed clams for you so that you can have an old fashioned clambake on your own porch, without all the work that goes with preparation, cooking and clean-up. For steaks, burgers and hot dogs, fire up the gas grill on the porch and it’s just like home. Don’t miss Yellowfin in nearby Ocean Park for a 5 star dining experience for that special night out. Nearby, Portland’s “Old Port” section offers great restaurants, shopping and other activities, including the “Sea Dogs,” the Boston Red Sox AAA affiliate. The Bungalow is, like the sign says when you arrive in Maine, “The Way Life Should Be.” You won’t be disappointed and you can be sure that we’ll back for years to come.

| Our family had a great week at Lori's Beach Bungalow! My husband and I have travelled to many places and always stay in four star hotels. I consider us to be pretty picky about locations and amenities. We were a little nervous about renting from the internet but really found a "gem". I cannot say enough about the cleanliness, location and overall warm feel of Lori's property. We spent most days at the beach which was just across the street and ventured into nearby towns for dinner and shopping. I highly recommend Old Port in Portland for dinners (15 minute drive) and Freeport for shopping (30 minute drive). It was the best family vacation we have had yet! We'll be back next year without a doubt! |
