The guesthouse is a great place to stay if you enjoy a peaceful retreat under the stars with wide open space at your front door. Both our dogs (and their people) loved the casita!

There isn't a full kitchen, but the propane grill and the electric burners were enough to cook a lovely feast for two that we enjoyed with a bottle of wine under the twinkling tree lights. The full bathroom was a pleasant surprise - a long soak after a day in the desert is heaven.

Tom and Vilis are fabulous hosts & more importantly, just "great people." We can't imagine staying anywhere else on a trip to Marfa.

Perfect studio/one bedroom for a weekend getaway to Marfa. Tom and Villis, the home owners, are gracious and accommodating. The casita is charming with a nice courtyard for hanging out and drinking a glass of wine or reading a book. The kitchen set up is limited, but that is just the way I like it since Marfa has a few great places to eat like Maiyas, The Blue Javelina and Austin St. Cafe.
