| Nice accomodations. Short drive to town center. Good access to the North, South and West parts of the islands for day trips. Full kitchen is great for stocking up on groceris. Would recommend to our friends to stay here. |

Absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay.
The place was clean and well equipped
with new furnishings (stainless steel
frig, granite kitchen counter, cooking
utensils/plates/spices, very nice shower
stall, etc). The full kitchen is nice as
we could eat in. There's satellite TV
and WiFi Internet for relaxing at the
end of day. The owners are very laid
back and flexible. The place is as nice
as the pictures depict. |

| Everything here is absolutely lovely. This studio room says "tropical paradise" so beautifully. This was a great place for us to base exploring an absolutely lovely tropical paradise. We would come again in a heartbeat! |

Tomi and Jon, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in
your beautiful, airy and spacious apartment.
Everything about it was ideal for us, from the
beautiful furnishings and hardwood floors,
oversized natural tile shower, and stainless steel
appliances. The koi pond and garden (containing an
amazingly wide variety of native plants) are
peaceful and tranquil, both lovingly maintained by
the two of you. We also enjoyed the many
songbirds. We wish we could keep your beautiful
and immaculately clean hideaway a secret! Thank
you for all the kindness you showed to us. You are
wonderful people and we look forward to seeing

| Our stay in your apartment was more awesome than we expected it could be. John & Tomi were the most gracious hosts, and shared information about island details that we could not find in any books. Our thanks go out to them for taking time from their lives to visit with us. It felt more like family than a vacation rental. The apartment was our home away from home for a week, and we can't wait to return. |

The place is actually better than I expected, and I
expected it to be nice. Everything in the apartment,
including the comforting sand colored walls, has
been selected with taste and care. The is nothing
cheap or second rate about this place. The size of
the apartment allows one to sit on the couch and
read or watch TV; one is not confined to relaxing
only on the bed. While some might like to be right
on the beach, I rather liked being up in the hills a
bit. Tomi and her husband John could not have
been more gracious. So, if you want a lovely place
to stay for a quite reasonable price, book this place.
You won't be sorry. I would definitely stay there

| Wow! Thanks for the best vacation ever! An affordable, perfect paradise for two. We found the suite clean, spacious, and private. The bed was comfortable and the Travertine shower the best after a long day of exploring the island. The full kitchen is a plus and gives you the option of cooking your meals, instead of eating out. Another positive for the budget-minded traveler. The photos don't do it justice. Nice cross-breeze, peaceful & quiet. Tomi & Jon are great hosts, who share their knowledge of the island with first-time visitors. We love the location and would not consider staying anywhere else when returning to Kauai. This suite is perfect for couples who enjoy a natural environment and park-like setting. The roosters didn't bother us, but rather added to Kauai's charm. It's a short drive to downtown Kapa`a, with its grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. Try the Olympic Cafe for the best Mai Tais. We hope to return again sometime in the future and we will definitely recommend your suite to all of our friends. Much Aloha. |

| We had a wonderful time in Kauai, thanks in no small part to the great accommodations provided by Tomi and family. The apartment was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed and more. It was centrally located, and provided a very comfortable "home base" for our excursions on the island. We won't hesitate to stay there again next time we visit. |

Totally enjoyed our stay there. The setting was quiet, calm, picturesque, clean, friendly and easy to get there. We spent half our time touring the north end of the island and the other half touring the south end, so the location was perfect. Enjoyed Kapaa's local restaurants and were there for the Coconut Festival. Also, Beau and Penny were cool to have around. Kauai was the best of the islands.

Living on Oahu has become exceptionally crowded with limited secret getaways, so when we found Toni and John’s oasis in Kauai we knew it would be our new Shangri-La.
The minute Robert and I stepped into the suite we just looked at each other and smiled, knowing this was exactly what the doctor ordered. Ahhhhhh, sweet relaxation, peace and quiet with superbly appointed surroundings both inside and out. Considering we are local this suite is a huge find for us, the ideal little surreptitious away from the rest of the world. And Toni and John are paramount hosts, they know exactly what their guests require. Aloha to all that get to stay here and experience the true Hawaii.

| We stayed at the studio May 2-11. It is a beautiful, clean and well equipped studio. The Gibbs were great. We have been to Kauai several times and this was by far the "best bang for the buck." We enjoyed being away from town and tourists - yet it is close enough to be convenient. |

| We absolutely enjoyed the experience of staying upcountry and away from the typical tourist spots. We live on the beach and we loved the unique experience, peace and quiet this home provided. If you stay here, stop on the way to your apartment at night to take in the scent of the flowers. The landscaping was awesome! The apartment was beautifully decorated. The Gibb's were very accommodating. |

| We stayed at this elegant "retreat" April 7-10th. Everything looks just like the photos in the listing, but actually looks even better in person! Tomi decorated with impeccable taste and it was very clean. We had complete privacy, and felt comfortable knowing our comfort was important to the Gibbs', and they would be right there if we needed anything. It was an easy drive from Kapaa, and staying there made us feel more like locals than tourists. It was great! |

| We certainly enjoyed our stay in Kauai a few days before Thanksgiving 2006. The room was exceptionally lovely, big and included a well-furnished kitchen. It was quiet and the entrance very private. Every detail seems to have been anticipated by the owners. We hope to stay there again when we visit Kauai. |

I stayed here for 4 days in May. It was exactly what I was looking for in a cottage. It was clean (and I'm a clean freak), well appointed and best of all...no bugs! The hosts were very thoughtful and I felt like part of the family . Tomi even went right out and bought a coffee maker for the room when she found out I liked it in the mornings. The room is every bit as nice as the picture on this page...and I've found places that were nothing like the pictures once you get there. I loved the shower, too. I wish mine at home was as nice! I will book the room again on my next visit to the area.

| Your guest apartment was the perfect spot for me to get away to and relax. IT was close to everything, yet far away to enjoy the peace and quiet I was looking for. THe decor and detail to the finest quality was apparent. I had the best night sleep as the bed was so comfortable and the sound of the soft rain at times put me to sleep. | I loved my stay here!!! the location was great, so quiet & breezy, with mountain and upcountry views,waterfalls nearby, yet only a few minutes to town & a great sandy beach to run on sun on & the surf wasvery fun too! The hosts made me feel like I was An honored guest,and it was very private too. I am have rentals and I really appreciate all the nice details and upscale condition of the cottage/unit. I would not hestiate to stay here again on my next trip to Kauai,if it isn't booked solid by then! Enjoy!!! |
