We stayed at 109 West for a wedding and it was better than expected. We were able to fit almost the whole family into the home and it was great. The entire home was immaculate upon arrival and we have absolutely no complaints. The house was amazing and I only hope that we can return in the future. |

| I recently had a family gathering with a wedding at 109 West Liberty and this house made it an experience of a lifetime. ALL of the rooms are so beautiful that it was hard to pick which one everyone wanted. The pictures do not do it justice - you have to see it in person to fully understand the size and beauty of this home. It was perfect for my large family and allowed us to gather for a small intimate wedding ceremony. I would definitely recommend 109 West Liberty. |

| Staying at 109 West was the best way to visit Savannah. Centrally located in a residential area the home is elegant, roomy, very clean and the perfect spot for a group of friends. The kitchen is well equipped making meal preparation easy. |

| It's hard to believe that 109 West is more beautiful in person than it appears on the website, but it is TRUE! Everything in the home was perfect....and so comfortable. We quickly realized how close we were to all the major attractions of Savannah and we surely want to return. 109 West is the perfect place to stay! |

| "109 West" was the perfect place for our large family to gather while attending our son's wedding. We were able to visit at breakfast each morning and then split up and enjoy the many wonderful historic spots, squares and eateries that surround the property. We hosted a catered rehersal dinner for fifty people on friday evening and the first floor, porch and patio accommodated us perfectly. Each bedroom and bath are beautifully appointed. It was a magical five days and we hope to return. |

| We enjoyed our stay at 109 West immensely! We stayed in the recently built carriage house adjacent to the recently renovated Italian style 19th century home. The carriage house is nicely built and decorated to compliment the main home which is absolutely beautiful. We were fortunate enough to get a tour of the main house by the friendly and accommodating owner. It's obvious that this restoration was a labor of love. The attention to historical detail while fully modernizing the home is amazing. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and each bedroom has its own bath. 109 West is located in the central part of the historic district and parking is provided so we parked and easily walked the whole area. We could not get enough of this beautiful, historically rich city and plan to return during the cooler months. Please check out their website for some great pics of the property and various rental arrangements. |

We have been home for one week and so wish we were back in your/our carriage house in Savannah. I can't tell you how pleased we were with our accommodations. The carriage house is lovely. It was just right. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful with everything you could want - room to move, the large soaking tub, the double vanity and the spacious shower. The furnature was very comfortable. There isn't anything that we would have changed. We were very happy there! You have done a great job with your property It is fabulous! It is perfect inside and out, from the front entrance, the back porches, the courtyard and the entire main floor (such lovely furnishings). Thanks so much for making our stay in Savannah a lovely one. When the day comes that we return to Savannah, we will certainly want to and wish to stay at 109 West again. Thanks ever so much!

Our recent stay in Savannah (month of February) was very pleasant due in large part to the garden apartment conveniently located in the historic district. The apartment was very comfortable as well as tastefully decorated and furnished. Our Savannah experience was the most pleasant portion of our winter travels. We are hopeful that we can return again next year. Robbie and Helen were most gracious landlords and extremely helpful with warm hospitality. Their assistance in renting this apartment was the best. The entire house is most impressive.

| A group of 10 couples stayed at 109 West over New Years' weekend. We rented the entire property and loved every minute! This property is even better than the pictures indicate. It is the perfect mix of modern conveniences set along side historical architecture. We loved having the run of the house and being able to cook in the well stocked kitchen. The location is great- well within walking distance of all the historic area. We will definitely return! Helen & Robbie were very responsive throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this house. |

We just completed a 3 night stay at 109 West. We used three rooms for one night and the entire property for the rest of the visit. It was the perfect place for our guest to enjoy their stay as well as conduct our daily business meetings.
The attention to detail by the owner to assure your ultimate satisfaction is astounding. Every where you look you see quality, warmth, and charm while preserving the Historical significance of this charming place. All of the comforts and conveniences of home yet a truly unique and beautiful Inn.
The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cookware, stemware, and both china and daily use tableware. We simply took our own food and drinks and set up housekeeping. It was enjoyable to fix our own breakfast and lunch and the proximity to restaurants were convenient for the evening meals.
All of our attendees were so favorably impressed, I would be afraid to even suggest another location for a meeting of this type for next year!
This property exceeded our best expectations and receives a hearty "must try" for all.

| This home is a gorgeous, exquisite mansion that my family and I enjoyed immensely. The service was great and the accommodations were wonderful! We stayed 3 nights/4 days and had the entire Main House. Each day was full of amazement at the accommodations and the degree of detail that the owners obviously put into decorating everything. A special thanks to Robbie and Helen who made sure that all of our needs were met and our check in/check out process went smoothly. My family and I would recommend this place to anyone! |

As a prior ownner of an Inn for 10 years and as someone who has been to over 50 Bed and Breakfast's and Inns, I can speak with some sense of knowledge in acurately rating an establishment such as the 109 West Inn. First, this 1871 Inn has been completely renovated to once again show off its exceptionial beauty and grandeur. The attention to detail in the renovation has been impecible. The furnishings throughout are period and of excellent quality. It is very apparent that costs have not been comprised in every aspect of its decor and of all the ammentities this lovely home has. All applicance, counters, fixtures, baths, etc. are upgraded to make this establishment a 5 Star Inn. We held Thanksgivng and a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner here. I've received outstanding comments about how much everyone enjoyed their stay here. We are already discussing the option of making this a yearly family reunion venue. In all my 30 years of staying at Inns and Bed & Breakfasts, this honestly rates as number 1.You will LOVE this place. Have a Happy Stay!!! |

We loved the house and the way it was decorated. We are six women who meet annually and appreciated that we each had our own beautiful bedroom and bathroom. We also were happy that we could be together and not in separate hotel rooms. Being located in the historic district is fantastic and we could walk everywhere. Loved Savannah and if we ever go back, we would stay at 109 West again.

109 West is a beautiful guest house, and is by far the finest property we've ever rented. The beds were comfortable, the kitchens well equipped, the common rooms were beautiful, and the owner, Robbie Bell, was a pleasure to deal with. It is gorgeous inside, and he spared no expense in renovating and decorating the property. It should be on a Savannah home tour! We were thrilled with our stay there. |

| I have never stayed at an inn, B&B, or hotel with more comfortable accomodations, or more attention to detail. Here are just a few of the things I loved about the house: period colors, fabrics, and patterns; Egyptian cotton sheets; deep soaking tubs with rain showerheads; elegant decor and inviting furniture; mood lighting; and location, location, location: immaculately maintained parks/squares, lovely shops & boutiques and fine & casual dining around every corner, and just a short walk from River Street. 109 West is truly a treasure...this is the place to stay to experience old Savannah! |

| My destination wedding on May 18, 2007 could not have been any more perfect. It was exactly how I'd always dreamed it would be - small & personal in a beautiful location. 109 West was that beautiful location. It is situated in historic downtown Savannah within walking distance to Bay & River Street (food & entertainment). The property itself perfecty captures the old southern charm of the city. Robbie did a magnificent job in remodeling and decorating the property in the luxurious colonial style incorporating items from the original property throughout the house (original doors as a bed's head board). For our wedding, we rented the entire property (main house, garden apartment and carriage house) so that all our guests could be in one place. We had the wedding ceremony on the first balcony of the main house while the guests were seated or standing in the courtyard below us. We then walked to one of the many nearby squares that Savannah is famous for to take some (more) wedding photos. The owner was so helpful during our wedding planning offering suggestions and not minding when we made last minute changes (somebody is arriving early!!). All this and it was extremely affordable. The prices on the different units are comparable to most other hotel chains, however, if you rent the entire property (as we did) you get a very nice discount. We'll definitely be back to 109 West. |

| Most amazing place I have ever stayed. By far exceeds any 5 star hotel. Decorated impeccably, clean and just a gorgeous place to be. Lived in Savannah many years ago and this house is so beautifully restored and maintained and in the perfect area to walk anywhere in the Historic District. I will most definitely return and stay here. |

Recently we rented this house for several of our close friends and members of our bridal party. As self avowed connoisseur's of Savannah's vacation properties, we can say without reservation that this place is the most amazing place to be in Savannah.
If you have found this website and are looking for the best place to stay, consider yourself lucky.
We rented the entire property. Every part of it is comfortable, elegant, and absolutely top notch.
The owners went out of their way to help us feel comfortable and at home. I congratulate them on the amazing job they did in restoring the property. |

| We rented 109 West Liberty for a long weekend with several Girl Scouts and their mothers. What a truly memorable experience! It was so much better than being in separate hotel rooms! We rented the entire home, which is 9BR and 9.5BA. The decor is fabulous, and the home is newly renovated with the greatest attention to details. Every room was truly stunning! The kitchens were well equipped, the bedding was very comfortable, and the baths had everything we needed. Even though the home was built in 1871, we had every modern convenience - an elevator, WiFi, sound system, several TV's, etc. We were an easy walk to Juliette Gordon Low's Birthplace, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and several shops and restaurants. We parked our cars when we arrived and never had to drive anywhere. |

This is one of the most beautiful homes I've ever stayed in. The quality of the renovation work and the attention to detail is amazing. Although the decor is gorgeous, it is very comfortable and not stuff or overdone. You'll just wish you lived here all the time! The location is perfect for walking downtown, to restaurants or just exploring. The kitchen is well-equipped if you decide to stay in. You'll love staying here! |

| We flew the whole family from around the US to Savannah for a southern style Christmas and rented 109 West. We were completely delighted to discover the house far exceeded our greatest hopes. Imagine 9 adults walking into a house and turning around and around, mouths agape in awe. The house is exceptionally tastefully and wonderfully appointed. The livingroom had festive Xmas decorations. We are foodies and yet the kitchen was fabulously equipped for cooking, eating, far better than we'd have dared asked for. The diningroom has a stunning, elegant chandelier, beautiful table, chairs -- it made our Xmas dinner unforgettable! Our four couples all loved our bedrooms - each one with king size beds, each a little different but all so beautiful it was difficult to choose which one we liked better. The other surprising positive element was the owner himself. Robbie is impressive for his very professionalism: he is accessible, helpful, cares about all details, he follows up to questions. We will almost certainly revisit Savannah for another Xmas and there will be no other choice for us to stay than 109 West. We've rented houses all over the world, from Paris to La Jolla and this is a 9.5 out of 10. You must try it!! |

We stayed in the Broughton Street House with another family. It truly made our first trip to Savannah more special. All the touches that are put into the homes make them comfortable and elegant. We stayed a few days after Christmas and the place was decorated and we were thrilled! It was also convenient to just about everything too. My husband, daughter and I had the upstairs apt. while the other family of 5 had the main house which makes it great for families that like to vacation together but don't want to be stuck and a hotel room. Next time we can get more family or friends and rent the "109 West" house.....which is also gorgeous! Thanks for the beautiful homes you share with all of us! |

| Dear Robbie, Last week our family of l5 enjoyed our l6th annual pre Christmas get together. Each year we lease a house in a different location, within a resonable driving distance of our homes in N.C., Georgia and Florida and spend three nights together. This year I was fortunate enough to find l09 W. Liberty online and as a result this was our best Christmas ever! The house is fantastic, beautifully furnished and appointed, well equipped, extremely comfortable, perfectly located..who could ask for anything more? Thank you for allowing us to share it with you. Twelve of us stayed in the main house in early September and found 109 West to be absolutely beautiful and magnificently decorated. Added touches abound and if you want to feel pampered in plush surroundings, this is the place to stay. The carriage house, the apartment downstairs, and the gardens were still under construction when we stayed there, however, this did not detract from the beauty of the house. Each bedroom has its own private bath which makes it nice if you have a large crowd. The beds were extremely comfortable and roomy and each bedroom was exquisitely decorated....such a nice place to retreat to at the end of a very busy day of sightseeing and shopping in Savannah. The kitchen, as well as the rest of the house, was stocked with everything you might need. I even needed a grater and found one! All of the appliances are modern and top of the line. The kitchen table is a nice place to sit in front of the fireplace and television. The dining room opens into the kitchen and has a beautiful, huge table which seats 12. The elevator is a huge plus! There are beautiful staircases leading up to the other three floors and would be quite a haul with suitcases, etc., if if were not for the elevator. It worked perfectly. The porches on all the levels in the back were great to sit out on and congregate. The front entrance is stately with its beautiful front door. The location was stellar for the historic district of Savannah. It is close to River Street and we were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go to eat, shop, and sightsee. Everyone was pleased with our home away from home in Savannah!
