| We stayed there in July for a week with another couple and two dogs. The house is divided into 3 sleeping areas -- an upstairs private suite which also has outside entrace, a main floor area with 2 bedrooms and a shared bath, and a finished basement with a futon w/fireplace and bedroom with 2 twins and bathroom. There is a dining room, large kitchen, large living room with TV / DVD, sun room, and laundry room. Great hot tub that we used almost daily, although had to heat it up. The river has easy access from the front yard and our dogs lived in the water. Although with low tides is extremely muddy on the way to the water. Very private. Dining table and lawn chairs on outside front lawn. Canoe on site. Boat ramp short drive away. Beach towels and linens available. Condiments and spices and other useful supplies in kitchen. Wireless internet worked great. Beach towels available. |

| Stayed June 18-22, 2008 -- this house was far more than we expected -- it's really three living areas in one great package! Sits on a picturesque bend on the York River, secluded and blissfully quiet, but only a short, easy drive to shopping and beaches. House is very well-stocked with kitchen supplies, bath towels, blankets; amenities include easy Net access, entertainment, etc. Our stay was FAR too short to enjoy everything about this vacation and location -- will easily stay again! |
