| A nice, clean, comfy home. Me and my husband stayed there for a weekend in the fall. Went for hikes and then returned to the toasty fireplace, meals cooked on the grill and played pool, airhockey and ping pong. Would recommend to anyone with or without children. The owners were great to work with! |

IT WAS A RELAXING AND ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE AND WE DEFINITELY WOULD RECCOMEND THE "WHITE LANTERN" TO ANYONE WHO'S LOOKING INTO THE POCONO'S AREA!

| We, our daughters and their families have stayed at the White Lantern three times and we are planning our fourth. The chalet is nicely laid out, clean, well cared for and very well equipped. The Hideout has nice amenities which we enjoy and there are other near-by places to go for family fun. We Have always enjoyed our visits to the White Lantern and recommend it easily. |

| We just returned from a week in The Hideout and stayed in The White Lantern. I must say the home was absolutely beautiful and EXTREMELY CLEAN. We having been visiting for several years and will definately visit again next year and stay at The White Lantern!!! The Hideout is a great place for families!! We highly recommend it! |

| I found "the white lantern" by chance browsing the site, and since we were looking for a relaxing place out of town for five days in july, after seeing the pictures and the descriptions, we thought we found what we were looking for, only to find out upon arrival that the place is much better that it seems in the web site. What a great place!!! I was astonished by the quiet and heavenly environment of the Hideout...i think i saw more deers than people in our five days there, and the lake, the view and the staff was just outstanding. But this house was the icing on the cake, just beautifull and so spacious and clean. We enjoied the patio end the barbecue everyday, and the game room downstairs was excactly what we needed at night after a great day on the beach of the lake....overall just amazing, can't wait to go back in winter. Five stars!!! |

My girl and I went up there for Valentine's and her
birthday withh 2 other couples/friends. we had a
great time, got a little lost on the way up, and were
a little late, but really enjoyed ourselves. WE took
advantage of the passes and went skiing Saturday
night, and it was a lot of fun! Some of us played
pool, some air hockey, all enjoyed the fireplace.
We'll be back. Long trip/ride though! |

| Childhood friends and I have been staying at the White Lantern for two years running...a sort of reunion- a time to catch up and get away from the kids. We positively love the White Lantern and the Hideaway. It is always clean and comfortable and provides a great atmosphere to relax in. It's roomy enough for our group of 10. The Guests are wonderful people to rent from and make the rental process easy. They genuinely care that you have a wonderful and hassle-free stay. |

| In the words of our 12-year old son, "This is the greatest house we ever had in the Poconos!"...and we all agree that after 7 different rentals, this is one we'd definitely return to. The house is spacious and VERY clean, situated in a peaceful area. The screened porch is perfect for family meals or enjoying morning coffee; the game room a great place to play. Excellently equipped (awesome gas grill!)with all the comforts of home. We love the Hideout amenities all the more thanks to The White Lantern! |

Great weekend!! My kids had a great time skiing & tubing. They learned so much from the ski school! Very reasonable place to teach children how to ski. Highly recomend! We all had a blast tubing.
The house was spacious & bright. I have rented from the Guest's in the past & they are wonderful, caring, friendly people!
The Hideout is a great place for families. Very safe & secure! We can not wait to go back!

| It was only a weekend visit but it felt like a week in your lovely house. The house is light and airy but warm and cozy too, especially with the fireplace crackling and popcorn popping! Four teenagers had no trouble finding fun things to do and my husband and I delighted in the woodland views and quiet winter walks. Everything we needed was there and in fine working order. You were so helpful with instructions that it felt like we were in our own home. Thank you again, Diane - it was a wonderful break! |

| We had a wonderful time at your home, with so much to do. We took advantage of the Father's Day mini golf tournament at the lodge and won a dinner gift certificate to a local restaurant and we won 6 free bowling passes to a local bowling alley. We also went to a local miniature golf course and played a few games. We went to the lake and pool which were well maintained and a lifeguard was on duty. We certainly used the game room in the house particularly the ping pong and pool table. It got very competitive. We went biking at Promiseland State Park, which is about 1/2 hour away. The bike trail is 7.5 miles around the lake. If you want to bike in the Hideout community you need a helmet regardless of age. We enjoyed the outside porch at your home, we ate dinner, read many books, and played board games out there. We really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. |

Wow what a wonderful home! There are three bedrooms with Queen beds and there is a loft area with a fullsize/Queen Futon, plus many other places to sleep!
The house is well-equiped and very comfortable (we had 8 adults staying for a long weekend)! The deck is just so very relaxing as is the entire resort!
It's so beautiful and peaceful there. Even on a holiday weekend there were no loud parties or intrusive neighbors. It was as if we had the place to ourselves.
As mentioned in other comments, there are plenty deer to see. We had the joy of being visited by a newborn fawn for an entire day. What a beauty!
I highly recommend this place! It's definitely a keeper! Thanks again Diane! |

| We stayed at the chalet over the Easter holiday (3/05). The home was exactly as described but much more beautiful once seen than in the photos. Everything was very clean and in perfect working order. Having the linens and towels is such a great plus. Also the use of the washer/dryer is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this chalet for your next family outing. |

| My family and I were thrilled with our first stay at the White Lanterns last week. I was pleased to find that the pictures were not only accurate in their representation but that many features actually surpassed the photos (especially the kitchen). The house was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with extremely comfortable beds and even cozy quilts. Anyone who enjoys wildlife will love the deer, who visit the house each day and can be seen all throughout the Hideout. The screened in porch is a great place for a quite morning coffee or a lively game with the family in the evening. Be sure to listen closely for the sound of a wild turkey!! I wish there had been more time to enjoy the great Hideout facilities themselves, but that will have to wait until the next visit as the White Lanterns is within easy reach of several excellent golf courses. We were also pleasantly surprised to find many good quality restaurants in the area. We would happily return to the White Lanterns in the future. |

| Our trip to the Poconos was beautiful and was made even more so by staying at the Heavenly White Lantern. There was ample space for all 9 of us, with plenty to do in the area and in the house as well. We especially liked the screened in porch, as it gave us a plzce to go to once the kids were asleep. The pool right beside the lake beach couldn't be beat. The deer were gorgeous and came right up to the house. A FANTASTIC place to stay with plenty to do for kids as well as adults. (Our 6 yr. old especially loved the air hockey table, while the rest of us racked up some ping pong hours on the one rainy day we had) The Heavenly White Lantern gets top marks from our group!! |

There was plenty of room for the whole gang. It was also nice to stay in a place as nice as the Hideout. We enjoyed the pools, beaches, Tennis and Bingo. Thanks again for everything. |
