| We had a great long weekend! The boys loved finding shells on the beach and my dad caught some nice size fish. We enjoyed the house. The owners were easy to work with and returned our deposit quickly. |

Hi Bill,
I was writting to thank you again for letting us rent your house this past weekend. It is a beautiful house. My friends and I had a really good time. Deal Island is a relaxing place with plenty to do to keep you entertained but not overwhelmed. Your suggestions for things to do were very helpful.We would definately go back.

Hi Patty,
Thank you for being so prompt with the security deposit and for sharing your home with me and my family. My son is already asking to go back next year, but for a longer period of time. The bird watching was amazing out there. I saw osprey and an eagle which made my whole summer. Thanks again. I will be in touch in the future. |

Hi Patty,The house was lovely. We are planning to have a house built soon , so we took good notes of the features.The kids enjoyed learning how to crab. Arby was invaluable and very helpful-tips for good places to crab softshells ect. The binder with local information was also helpful.We had a nice time exploring the Wildlife management area,looking at the osprey nests, herons,egrets and other critters. The kids loved the Salisbury Zoo. We were quite lucky with the weather. So all in all a good family vacation.

We had a great trip over the past few days. The weather for October was fantastic, We were actually swimming in the bay yesterday. We caught plenty of fish and made some local friends.

Well,here we go! We are very excited to get to your home today. Thanks so much for making us feel welcome-that is a very nice welcome letter. We are taking the 8:30 Ferry and will spend some time exploring before we check in.
After...
Thank you so much for renting the house to us-It was a great time . It brought me back to when I was a kid with similar landscape that was not built out. The girls especially enjoyed our boating trips to Little Deal Island or as they call it "Adventure Island". It was a new exploration with every change in the tide . They found a bunch of sea glass.

On Friday we took the canoe over to Little Deal Isalnd and had an excellent picnic. Thanks for recomending this, it was a highlight. We had a pleasant visit with your neighbor Jodi. We also met the fire department as they burned down an old house behind the Faith Independent church.

We had such a wonderfull time on Deal Island. It is definately a special place
-a lovely shore home , nice and interesting people , fascinating local history and culture,and many opportunities for outdoor adventure.Highlights for the children
were bike riding around the village of Wenona , exploring the wildlife management area and the boat tour and fishing trip. our favorite seafood find were the muscles we dug on the shore of Little Deal Island. |

Thank you very much for the rental.Every
one had a great time and everything went well. My friends and I did some biking and kayaking/canoeing and my wife and daughter came and spent some time as well. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed the views from the living room and from the elevated deck. The place was extremely well stocked with those little items that always seem to be necessary and the stay provided some much needed 'down' time to get away from our hectic lifestyles. Thanks again.

| If you are looking for an off the beaten path vacation and don't know where to stay on the Eastern Shore, you will be delighted with this home and location. Though simple, this house offers a triple delight as it catches the sunrise and sunset as well as lovely bay breezes. This end and area of the Chesapeake will bring you back to times gone by when people sat around and talked to each other for entertainment, enjoying great meals at their own tables. There are more upscale and active areas on the Eastern Shore, but if nature and tranquility are high on your life list, you will be happy with this choice! The home owners are very conscientious and responsive hosts, adding to the ease of your holiday. |
